Using ps3 Controller on PC

Is there a way? I've heard there is and a tried it but had no success. However i've heard others have. Has anybody had any success, and if so can you show me what you did? Cheers.

Hey mate, i've gotten it work! in fact i only bought a ps3 controller just for pes2010 on pc haha. here is a nice guide to get it working over bluetooth, or if you want to just run it through a USB cable (Which is also possible) you can install just the sixaxis driver as well as libusb. Then load the driver and it should show up under game controllers in control panel. Works 100% and i can guarantee.

also if you are planning to make it work over bluetooth, make sure our dongle is version 2.0 bluetooth, it wont work anything under that version.

Well i've managed to get it working. Only problem is, none of the shape buttons work. Just trigger buttons and the analogue sticks. weird. Anybody got any ideas? Cheers.

did you go and change the settings on settings.exe?

I'm not sure there is a settings.exe. I'll check when i finish work. Cheers.

he means settings.exe for the pes folder. You should be able to map all your buttons in that. make sure you select the controller in the drop down menu. good luck mate, if you got any problems, feel free to pm me as i've just spent the last couple days getting this to work haha.

Ahh right. I should have known he meant that.lol. I'll give it a bash tonight. I'm quite excited now. The game looks class on the PC. I'll let you know how i get on. Cheers for your help. You too, nightmaregk13.

Sorted it. Brilliant. The game feels less clunky on the PC. It's really smooth. Unsure as to why. Thanks guys, you've saved me about £30.
