Update: The issue surrounding 2FA logins using the Google Authenticator should be resolved now. Sorry for any inconvenience this has caused. /Tom
We've been getting a growing number of reports from users being unable to log into their accounts using Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) with the Google Authenticator, putting them into an error loop. Rest assured we're trying to fix this asap. Thanks for your patience! /Tom
Most of these guys were around 10 years old when our FA - after Euro 2000 - finally realized ... whoops, we seriously lack talent.
It shows they intervened just right. Considering all this I find it rather amusing that our a-team can call itself runners up of Europe, with so very few outstanding players.
Well done Germany. I didnt see the match but 4-0 suggests you dominated.
To me, it's no surprise that you have such good teams at all ages. You're a well established nation in football terms, you've got the biggest population in mainland Europe and can draw on immigration from Turkey and Poland for example giving you a huge pool of talent to choose from. You've also got much better coaching for younger kids compared with England for example (ours is terrible) and the right mentallity seems to be instilled from an early age.
Anyway, if you can manage the transitions you look set to continue being serious contenders for trophies for the next 10-20 years or so at least.
Well done on winning the tournament. But to be fair, the result against Italy was very lucky and there was a clear pen towards the end for Italy! None the less, you guys were strong opponents.
I think beating England 4-0 would have been so sweet. On a Radio station over here called Talksport they were making out England were winners before a ball was even kicked lol
Germany - Nigeria 3:2 (Winning goal in the 93min by Germany)...
what the hell... i love our youth football. without 24 players (!!! - the most german clubs dont let their young talents travel to egypt) we are in the quarter-finals. lovely
