Through Ball Gauge Doesn't Show

I'm playing PES 6 on a PC. Before then when I play, there is a bar for the through ball when i use it. Now, the bar has disappeared and I checked the button configuration settings, and its on. I turned it on/off many times to try to get it to work, but it doesn't work. Can anyone help? thanks.

The through pass gauge. The one used with the triangle button.

Never was pass gauge for triangle button mate.

Really? Maybe I was hallucinating or something. I really thought there was a gauge for through balls and dinks over players. I'm dreaming then. Thanks.

Through balls in PES are mince, they are tied to where the player is you are trying to put through. Like the other night as in many many games, I am on one side of a defender my forward on the other and I press as hard as you want on through ball and because my team mate is about 3 yards inside me and a defender in between the ball rolls about 3/4 yards slowly and is taken by the defender.

I can only hope its not that way in PES2008
