The Witcher IV - First Trailer

And of course because of this horrible world we live in lots of sad little incels already ranting about Ciri being the hero, that it's not lore, that it's DEI and woke blah blah.

My message to anyone complaining that the main character is female and that it's not lore. I don't fucking care! I've been a gamer 40+ years and I don't give a shit that modern games are aimed to be more inclusive, that's a good thing, we're human beings, which should mean we treat each other with basic humanity.

Anyways, I for one am looking forward to it and think it's a great idea making Ciri a Witcher and the lead character of the game.

Anyone who played and completed Witcher 3 would know that Ciri was 100% going to be the next Witcher protagonist. You play as her for part of 3 ffs and its really fun lol . She does look different to the character in 3 but the whole point is that shes getting older and more buff.

Trailer looks impressive (all UE5 trailers do) but they will need to do a lot of tweaking for it to work on poor systems and consoles.

I genuinely saw someone complaining that in The Last of Us 1 you're "forced" to play as Ellie, switching to her was literally the greatest decision they made in the first game FFS! People are so stupid they should all be cancelled! ;)

Awesome. Witcher 3 is one of the best games ever made in gaming history... that narrative, those endings, side quests and expansions packed with so much content, feels just out of this world. For that reason I'm also into replying it again (who knows, eventually for another 400 hours :LOL:). But, knowing that the best CDPR already left for the sake of making their own studio (for obvious reasons) I'm hardly inclined very badly to try their new project as a brand new studio, than this new Witcher game made by CDPR (even though mostly I liked their cinematic trailer, also liked the fact that Ciri will be the main character)...

Im looking fw to that game as well, not as pumped up for W4 though
 
Can't wait for this one!
Still busy with my first playthrough of the Witcher 3. What a game!
Currently in the Blood and Wine expension pack, taking my time for it.

What a fantastic game!

And...the music in this game is amazing. So relaxing.
