The TV Show Thread

That was a really old spoiler, should we not discuss the red wedding yet either? ;)

In reply to your post Bsmaff my wife and I have the opposite view, it's stronger now and Shaw and Root are great additions :)

Well got 3 shows out the way (2 complete).

Boardwalk Empire - Really loved the show and it ended well for me too.

Spoiler:-

Always felt Nucky would be killed off. Although I was more sad at the deaths of Chalky and Mueller. I knew that his killer was something to do with Jimmy, I had lost track of the time so wasn't aware such a long time had passed since Jimmy's kid had grown up.

Sons of Anarchy - Another show that I wasn't sure about at first, but absolutely loved it. Another one that ended well for me.

Think with the way it all went down, he was always going to die. Wonder if Kurt Sutter intentionally had the crows from the very first scene and had thought about it for the last scene, or was it an after-thought? Was happy that with the exception of Bobby, the rest of the guys seemed to make it.

Homeland - Actually quite enjoyed it, although thought the last episode was drivel. Claire Danes is brilliant in the show, but I absolutely hate her character. The character she plays makes me cringe. Do really like Saul though.

Just finished up with Walking Dead as well, enjoyed that too (post in TWD Thread).

I enjoyed Black Sails (I like Pirates, lol) so the 2nd season has just started off, then TWD will start up again, Better CAll Saul starts up soon, so will Vikings and then GOT will not be far away too.

Busy TV ahead. :PINKS:

Enjoying Black Sails, love the character Vane.

It's funny to see these characters after playing AC: Black Flag.

Going to start on Better Call Saul too.

Currently up to date with Black Sails and The Walking Dead.

Just discovered they've made a pilot for a potential series based on Michael Connelly's Harry Bosch, one of my favourite series of books so brialliant news, it's available for free on Amazon Prime or Lovefilm, no account needed or anything! :)

Full 10 episode first season is now available on Amazon Prime :)

Watched last weeks Better Call Saul, was alright, I'm not sure were it really is going to be honest, it's certainly not grabbed me too much.

I love the character, but can it be the lead part of a tv series, I'm not sure.

It's enjoyable, but certainly nothing earth-moving.

Enjoying Black Sails, probably my fav out of the TV shows at the moment.

Up to date with that and Better Call Saul.

Started again with Walking Dead, which is okay.

Watched all my Back Sails, really enjoyed it.

Watched Walking Dead, I actually thought it picked up a bit, and ended quite well.

Got back round to watching a couple more Better Call Saul, I think more because of Mike it picked up. So I'll see how the next few episodes I get close out.

Will start on Game of Thrones new season this week.

Daredevil season 1 on Netflix: 9/10. Brilliant. Leaves all the other comic-to-film shows in the dust and by quite some distance.

Watched the 1st 4 eps of Game of Thrones season 5. Solid start

Season 3 of House of Cards was a disappointment. First 2 seasons were brilliant.

Walking Dead is ok I guess. Very predictable tho. The game is much better.

Better Call Saul has been decent. Hopefully season 2 kicks on.

Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones and LOST are the best shows of the last decade imo. No show has ever captured my imagination like LOST

Watched the 1st 4 eps of Game of Thrones season 5. Solid start

mmmmmmm, 50/50, some things are solid, others are really rushed and dumb ... I mean, so many important events came fast, and they should be surprising or chocking, but, they didn't, they were weakly presented.
