It's crazy to me how teams like West Brom can now attract these kinds of players.

Apparently a newly promoted team finishing 17th two years in a row would be able to buy the whole current Ajax squad (based off transfermarkt values) - I heard that a few months ago... It also means staying in the PL is worth more than winning the CL, by that it means if you have a situation like Dortmund last year, when there was a chance of winning the Cl but also a risk of relegation, the team would be better off losing in the Cl and staying up
