These are flooding the chatbox at the minute so I think it's best to start a thread about it before I get banned for starting it.
So the way you play the game is:
Remember it has to be related to the word if possible, especially if it's a person. It should be about them rather than a weird story. For example, JADE GOODY should be:
Jingoistic And Desperate Extrovert Got Opulent Outlook, Died Young
NOT:
Just Asked Dad Energetically, Greet Orange Otters Do You?

Wikipedia said:A mnemonic device (pronounced "neh-mon-ik") is a memory aid. Commonly met mnemonics are often verbal, something such as a very short poem or a special word used to help a person remember something - Mnemonics rely on associations between easy-to-remember constructs which can be related back to the data that is to be remembered. This is based on the principle that the human mind much more easily remembers spatial, personal, surprising, sexual, humorous or otherwise meaningful information than arbitrary sequences.
So the way you play the game is:
- you make a mnemonic for the word/name/whatever above you, then
- you give a word/name/whatever for the next person to make a mnemonic for (try to make it two or three words maximum)
Remember it has to be related to the word if possible, especially if it's a person. It should be about them rather than a weird story. For example, JADE GOODY should be:
Jingoistic And Desperate Extrovert Got Opulent Outlook, Died Young
