This what i get when playing full manuals on superstar.. I worked so hard to score goals to only let the AI equalize and even turn the score around by only two 2 passes and a low hard shot to the bottom corner, we don't even need to bring up the goalies.. frustrating as hell.

Maybe playing assisted is more enjoyable cuase at least you could score 3 goals before the AI cheats you :?

I'm in trouble so, sure that's why I dropped down from Superstar which I usually play on. Are you using default players Lami and full manual or am I just looking for an excuse for my ineptitude?

Don't get me wrong I still love but it's very frustrating.

Elja that's exactly what's happening to me, work your knob off to score or create a great chance but cock up with manual shooting and they score immediately. Thought it would change dropping to Top Player but no.

I'm playing with Liga Adelante's Cordoba's real players, manual shooting and passing, -1 speed and top player :)
 
When you play on manual in last year's game, you will see the AI shooting wide and way over the bar.. not the case this year, in some cases you won't even have the chance to defend, in a way this may sound quite realistic if it doesn't happen to often.

Aha! I'm in Serie b with Cagliari and default players 0 speed top player and manual shooting and passing.

The CPU is fecking ruthless. . . I'm hoping it will feel sorry for me at some stage, in saying that I have had some great games where my finishing has lost me the match.

It's full concentration for the whole match, it's not good for my blood pressure.

Maybe the default speed is too much for you? Try -1 and see how you cope.

C'mon Lami I'm a Pes veteran, I've done my tours of duty. . I find the Cpu throws up different paced games randomly and if you get a very slow game and you're on -1 it's like slo mo.

I appreciate your advice though, I'm getting more used to it now . . it's just my finishing on manual is letting me down . . even after practising in training.

Have to say it's very enjoyable to play. Pes for some reason has always made one match out of twenty where everything looks and feels perfect. . even going back to the old games. The graphics look sharper the play is more free and you feel more in control of what's happening and it ends up a great match. Always wondered why they can't do it more frequently.

I've switched to 20 mins matches instead of 15 mins and it plays a lot better . .more balanced. Now I have 20 shots wide of goal instead of 8. Got the kits for Serie b from one of the sites which makes it more realistic.

I can't stop playing it at the moment.
 
What's the story with this Master League on top player? Second season and narrowly getting beaten in most matches through scripting by 1-2 or 2-3. . . I manage to beat a team eventually. . . . and then the next match I win 11-1. . .a bit unrealistic I'd say.
 
I love it. Been having a great day in my Master League. I was about 10 points off the top yesterday but then I clawed it to just two points behind City with 4 games to go. I just got knocked out of the Champions League on away goals and then had the big away game against City. A must win or I basically had no chance of winning the league. The game was bloody intense, and for your enjoyment I decided I would record and upload the entire thing.

It will probably bore the tits off most of you, but i'm sure a few of you will enjoy it. Please excuse a few of my dodgy passes since I am playing fully manual (Top Player btw). Even watching it back myself, you can see how much more dynamic the CPU are in their play compared to Fifa. It's all far from perfect, but it's definitely the best offline football experience I have ever had on a game.
 
Yeah master league is heavily scripted. My current peeves are: Scripted equalizers, 10 yard sliding tackles, CPU instantly throws strong players off the ball, the killer 20 yard 1 -2, CPU shot in area = goal and finally the cpu gathering a ball when the players back is to it.

When the game is good it is a joy to play, but when you have a game against a top team all of the points above really come into play. hope the patch adjusts these.

Yeah the scripting's a bummer alright. I'm loving playing it but the obvious scripting is frustrating the bollocks off of me especially when I've played a perfect tactical game and cruising 2-0 and all of a sudden from nowhere comes 3 goals to beat me from a team who aren't in the game.
At one stage it wouldn't let me win for about 12 games but not too bad now.

Last game of the season done. It was away to Swansea and all I needed to do was win and i'd win the title. Anything else would depend on how City do. They dominated possession all game but I was pretty good with the quick counters... I just couldn't bloody score.

What I'm loving about this game so far is, you definately need to focus on your players strengths and weaknesses a lot more than previous versions of pes, after a while you understand who can tackle, who can pull off an adventurous pass, who can have a hard shot on goal, who can cross, list goes on, an amazing experience so far, and one other thing that's starting to amaze me and this brings back the good ol days in a big way, certain playersconnect well with other players, for example il have one player who won't connect well with my midfielders passing or he won't create space for that midfielder to receive the ball then you bring another player in that position and he receives connects and runs into space when that certain player has that ball, this game urges you to use all your bench to find that connection between players, i understand team spirit is what it is ment to do but I notice certain positions like what I mentioned above doesn't always connect regardless how high your team spirit is. The 29th not far away.

Some players play better with specific tactics as well. For some reason 4-2-3-1 works best for me with a strong centre forward who can hold it up and has good movement with runners from midfield.
Playing in Master League with Cagliari with default players and a few cheap signings has been brilliant . .you really feel you've earned your victories. Players with higher ratings don't necessarily play better than lower rated players and as you said higher team spirit is not what I'd rely on either.

Great game but I haven't won a penalty yet. .lots of fouls and yellow and red cards for the cpu but no penos.

Same here, have played so many seasons haven't had a penalty yet, hope that's rectified in patch.
 
What's with all the regens in the youth team?.. .it would feel like cheating using them. Is there any way of blocking regens?

On 360 atm,switching to ps4 in a month.
If you could post a link to the Serie B kits id be very grateful.
On season three now. With Milan,26 games in,top of the league 10 pts clear of #juvemerda.
Experienced a few "comeback" goals season one and two,but this season none.
Have a solid back four

have just taken the mighty AS Avellino in Serie B to second place and promotion to Serie A on superstar

The championship went down to the last day and I happened to be playing top placed Cesena who were 2 point in front of me I had to beat them to win the title was such a great ending to the season

I took the lead early on and sat back defending held them until the 75th and they pulled it back to 1-1 and just fell apart in the last ten minutes all subs used and players all dead on their feet ending up losing 3-1 oh well still enjoyed the lap of honour cutscene after

nice addition to see the old boys testimonial now to try keep my loan signing superstar florenzi and build my team up for next season in seria A
