The Last Of Us: Part 2 [PS4]

I don't think she needs to be a fucking Terminator. As long as she works her back and shoulders a bit and you can see that she is fit - that will be close enough.

What worries me the most is this rumour about splitting second part into two seasons. As we know there are flashbacks that cover 5 year gap between seasons. I really hope they don't want to show Abby's story before they meet for the first time.
Viewers feelings should be exactly like they were in the game.
Everyone should hate Abby before they see her story

After a 4 year wait it is finally coming to PC on 3rd April to coincide with the new series of the TV show.

The PC version will also require the controversial PSN account to play the game.
Personally don't understand the backlash TBH, so another company wants your data - That is the norm these days.

So over the past couple of months, I decided to finally replay the Last of Us.
But not just Part 1 but also Part 2.

After recompleting them both, my main conclusion is...
Last of Us Part 1 has not aged that well - The game was incredible first time playing it and assume that because it was originally a PS3 game, there is clearly hardware limitations to the game.
The story which is the main driving force of the game was still excellent but they just didn't hit the mark on the 2nd play through like they did on the first.
The gameplay also felt a little clunky and stealth elements were slightly off.
The game was still very good but it just didn't hit the same notes as it did when I originally played the game on PS3..

Last of Us Part 2 - Now I actually found this the opposite and far more enjoyed it on the 2nd play through, the first 10+ hours with Ellie is really good especially when you get to the theatre and the game feels like it really starts and the quality of the game massively increases.
You can spot the generational leap with the game as well with the stealth working better and more enemies at once to contend with, the TLOU2 is clearly a step-up from the original in terms of gameplay mechanics.
I also didn't so much hate the story on the game either, because I knew

Joel was going to die this time and knew it was a massive revenge based story

and when you appreciate the story and game for that, then the Ellie part of the game is very good and the things she does are brutal and very well acted. (Take note Bella Ramsey.)

The Abby half of the game is still very weak and my opinion on her element hasn't changed much, her story from Day 2 is just weird and seems a bit out of character from the 1st day. Her whole side of the story seems pretty pointless and you are fighting different people it doesn't add anything - I really wouldn't care if the whole Abby play parts were removed from the game.

Out the two games TBH, I enjoyed TLOU2 more than the original.
The Ellie parts of it exceed what was in the original game and just enjoyed it more.

Now I might actually watch the 2nd Season of the TV show - Although I heard

Tommy never goes to Seattle

which is a massive part of the story in the game.
