I think it's a fair assessment to say that we're currently unsatisfied with the state of football games and the big two currently leave a lot to be desired.

Has it ever been considered that the answer might be to crowd fund a brand new football simulation IP? It seems the most viable option to raise sufficient money and influence the direction of the title. There's certainly enough talent in the community, and with PES in compete disarray there might not be a title for them to continue to fix year-on-year.

It may also be worthwhile reaching out to the people who worked on Football Kingdom, which to date, is arguably the closest representation of football we've seen.

It's probably an impossible dream, but I feel that we're now at the point where waiting for someone else to deliver what we want is futile.

The floor is all yours, feel free to shoot it down or add to the debate.

The budget to make football games these days is just too high.
Only the big developers could make it happen.

You would need either FOOTBALL 2K21, or someone like Microsoft to make a punt at it.
