Don't know if you've read any interviews but there is a complete system of facial damage, cuts, swelling, bruises, all start to affect performance over the fight, if your left eye becomes badly damaged you'll get worse at block/avoiding punches to the left side of your face. They said they've not included having a fight stopped due to either cuts or receiving excess punishment, in their words so you get to see more cool knockouts, which is fair enough :) There are flash knockdowns/knockouts, so you could be losing every round, then pull out the perfect punch from somewhere and win the fight, according to the interview it's all calculate to do with power, strength, stamina, position punch thrown, physics, all that kinda thing :)

Yeah there's been plenty of movie clips and suchlike release since I posted in the thread but I didn't think anyone was particularly interested :)

easports.com has a few different movies now, as does ign.com, the game's been delayed from its original 23rd March to 5th April or something but I believe that was only a USA release date anyways, we can expect it perhaps late April/ early May :)

WHAT?! I pre-ordered the damn thing and was hopin to get my hands on it this month! I can't wait to play this damn game. Arturo Gatti's gonna bring the pain!
 
Confirmed today that it won't be possible to change weight classes with your boxer, apparently they ran out of time to complete the feature so it's been taken out completely.....
 
There's a demo out next week apparently but only if you drop off the whole cost when pre-ordering at Gamestop, hopefully someone will create an image of it and put it on the net. Demo features 2 rounds, Roy Jones Jr. v James Toney, either 1 player (on easy apparently) or 2 players.

They wait 2 years and dont include this damn feature? What the hell?! I used to love taking Roberto Duran and knocking Lennox" the pugilist specialist" on his ass. The Hands of Stone body blows were the best!
 
Demo being posted to alt.binaries.cd.image.playstation2 It says DVD Rip but that's not true, some lame group released the demo saying it was the full game :roll:
 
bittorrent is the dvd one.

i'm not gonna waste a dvd on a demo.

The CD version doesn't work no :(

I downloaded the DVD version and then extracted all the files with CD-Mage, then created a CD image from that, I get the PS2 splash but nothing beyond that, going to try that CDgenPS2 app tonight to see if I can make a bootable image, getting a smidge frustrated though :(

I just knocked the guy out with a right hook and as he was goin down i caught him with a left hook :)

The way they go down and they way there head bounces when u hit em is fantastic

You might wanna think about investing in a DVD writer and 10 DVDRWs

they go along way :)
 
I need every penny I can get for my move in a couple of months :(

I tried making a CD image with cdgenps2 but again nothing happens after the playstation splash screen, disc is just spinning :( Guess I'll just have to wait for the demo to hit our stores, whenever EA decide to bother with the EU.
