That penalty decision is a joke. It’s far too lenient in my view, especially for an English team.
It’s just laughable yet again that there wasn’t even a free-kick awarded to Atleti (even if it was perhaps outside the box) after Calafiori clearly pushed Simeone.
In my view, that was a clear penalty – and possibly a professional foul too, meaning a red card for Calafiori.
If this carries on, we might as well give up on football and let money decide the outcome of matches!

Will it end tomorrow night ??? Watched Hearts and the Old Firm game at weekend and I'm already nervous for Hearts tomorrow ! I think as I'm 54 and only ever seen Aberdeen under Ferguson 3 times and the 1 season ('82-83 I think) Dundee United win it I'm desperate to see it go somewhere else. What a season though, not just the 3 at the top of the league. Falkirk have been so good and as for Motherwell, I don't think that manager will be there next season unfortunately. I've even got some mates now tuning in to games the last few months and agreeing that it's a good standard and enjoying it as it's not just 22 athletes mostly charging around and some good players and more shall we say traditional football.....

Well. That was interesting! I still don't know if it was a penalty. What I do know is that it wasn't clear and obvious and VAR shouldn't have been involved. Advantage Celtic, I think.
As a petty man I don't want Hearts to win it. That'll take them one league title ahead of Aberdeen so fuck that! Literally any other non-Old Firm team and I'd be rooting for them. I'm completely desensitised to Celtic winning it; that'd just wash over me. I'll acknowledge it's been good for Scottish football, however, I suspect it'll be business as usual next season as I'd be stunned if Celtic and Rangers messed up as much for a second year in a row.
I suspect Motherwell - the most entertaining team by far - will be ripped up. Manager and players. But they should get good money, especially for Maswanhise.
The 25/26 season is drawing to a close.
What a season for Barça Femeni! And what a thrashing they gave OL Lyonnes in Saturday’s UWCL final. The former ‘apprentice’ (assistant coach) helped beat his former boss ‘the master’ using, one might say, his own resources (from OL Lyonnes).
Superb performances from Cata Coll, Esmee Brugts, Ewa Pajor and Salma Paralluelo. The others were also above average, though.
Congratulations also to Inter, who have won both Scudettos. And if what I saw on a FIFA modding Discord page is correct, Inter will finally, finally have a decent kit again next season (at least for the home shirt). It looked very good.
Just black and blue stripes (with a small, subtle pattern) and gold lettering for the sponsors’ logos and player numbers.
Atletico’s season was rather mixed. After the first few games in LaLiga, I thought, ‘Oh oh, this is going to be a tough season.’ Then ‘El Cholo’ managed to mould them into a team that was at least competitive, and they turned things around. Unfortunately, they ran out of steam towards the end of the season.
And of course I’m sad to see Griezmann leave. A legend!
As for my favourite French club, OM, I’d love to see a season where there’s at least no internal turmoil (between fans, players or club officials). And I’d like to see good transfer decisions – regarding players, coaching staff and so on – so that they can at least secure a very strong second place in Ligue 1, just behind fck PSG, and achieve more in the Champions League.
The saddest thing for me is FC St. Pauli’s relegation and, as a result, the departure of the keeper.
And the fact that, as far as I know, there is still no successor to fck Slot. Or rather, that it didn’t work out with Xabi.
But above all, the way he (Slot) handled the two LFC legends, Robbo and Mo, and the fact that both now (have to) look for their future elsewhere. Take care, Mo and Robbo! YNWA!
The World Cup is kicking off soon. Ticket prices are apparently exorbitantly high. Hopefully the prices for (maybe yet another) streaming subscription aren’t too.

An era is coming to an end here... It was quite emotional at times, even though I couldn’t understand most of it. Because, naturally, parts of it were only in Spanish.
It’s incredible everything Alexia Putellas has won with Barça. Please give her the Ballon d’Or as a farewell gift – she’d more than deserve it.

The fact Everton and Aston Villa bottled their own games vs Spurs, along with the dodgy VAR decision you said vs Arsenal, so that West Ham will get relegated still surprised us.
But anyways, I can't wait for the next season's European Football. So many interesting teams will play there. The likes of Como, Lens, and Real Betis in the Champions League, while Sunderland and Bournemouth playing alongside Milan and Juventus in the Europa League. Even the 2nd tier of Portuguese teams had won the domestic cup and will play in the Europa League!!! At least, not a good news for the Chelsea football fans who will only enjoy the Premier League campaign with their new coach Xabi Alonso.

This is just one of the reasons I've given up any interest in football now. I'm 55 and have been lucky to see some remarkable games, teams and especially players in my time. Sadly I don't enjoy watching the way the game is played today. And the way the game/clubs are run I can only see complete destruction on the horizon. Whether in my lifetime or after time will tell. Needless to say, it surely is unsustainable for much longer when you see things like you have pointed out here......
