Text in online games

For me this game has been spoiled by the inability to communicate with people you are playing.

Unless its me being stupid

OK so you play a game against someone. You pick Blackburn, they go to pick Barca

How do you tell them not to pick big teams please?

During the match something funny happens. Normally I would quickly type "LOL". Cant do this. Cant type "Ooooooooh" if someone hits the post

What you can do is pick your own phrases from a preset list that you can say when there is a replay. Great! :(

Cant chat at half time. Those "where you from mate" conversations are done. Cant even seem to "play with different teams" and even the "play again with same teams" is greyed out. Which is gay because one of the default chats is "shall we play again?"

Cant even add buddies so what you have is a series of laggy boring matches against what might as well be the PC. For me this has crushed all interactivity during online play and you might as well be playing against the computer. For all I know I might not even be online but in some special "online simulation" that Konami put in the game.
 
It's boring..........................online is shit this year. No 2v2, no communication. Top teams even stronger so it's not worth playing them, everyone shoots direct off corners and gets loads of own goals.

I know you get a lot of abuse online but it's the same for lots of other games. They should have left the typing communication in.


Online is riuned BIG time, the decent thing to do is keep pes6 server open until they bring back ALL of the old features for PES2009 or whatever it will be called....thats IF they have any customers left.
 
you can chat at half time and during pauses (as in someone has pressed the pause button) you have to press down the right stick and it will bring up the chat screen. unless your talking about something else :s but i agree, the chat this year is gash. last year i thought it was pretty good
