Regarding Sticky thread:

I can understand that, initially, this may have just been a patch for PES 2021 in a standalone release game, but by now (IMHO) is it should be considered a full fledged new PES game much like the transition from PES 2018 to PES 2019, and so on, up to 2021; it even features custom graphics and new structure about cups and leagues with new gameplays each year. As a base game and a point of reference, PES 2021 is now obsolete. That said, I respect your opinion if you disagree or don’t believe it warrants a spot among the sticky threads in this section.

regarding my tag to you in relation to Hayes answers:

My earlier point was prompted by the fact that Hayes seemed to be disparaging the Smoke Team simply because they accept donations for their hard work. Given that no one is under any obligation to contribute, I didn’t feel such criticism was appropriate.

I essentially written at Hayes to ask you whether it’s fair to criticize the Smoke Team as if to suggest that they should be "banned" and/or disregarded from evoweb, in this way here, especially considering that, every single year, they provide us for free with what is effectively a "new game", offering an excellent foundation for further modding, complete with a fully updated database of new season

Thank you for saying it, master... For a while it's been realized that the original Steam.exe is pretty much "un-moddable", for whatever the reason(s). Personally, I don't even remember if PES 21 had Denuvo implemented back when it came out... when CPY cracked it, maybe he cracked the current version at the time and subsequent updated versions were not cracked, and so forth. Original Steam gameplay mods work a little bit at first, but then it just fails to work. Completely. No matter the system file, no matter the .lua scripts. It's just impractical.

So yeah, I agree that the future lies in standalones that use a cracked .exe (or .exe's) as a base. Those being FL 27, or MES (that hopefully comes out sooner rather than later) or some other, and so forth. That being said, I also totally agree that the Smoke team should accept donations for their hard work. Donating isn't mandatory. You do it by heart. Nothing wrong with that, on the opposite.

FL27 General Features​

  • Updated database for the 2026/27 season, including teams, squads, player attributes, and transfers.
  • Major competition structure and calendar updates.
  • Overhauled gameplay and general engine improvements.
  • Updated kits, graphics, audio, and other game assets.
  • Additional FL Switcher options and customizations.

Competitions​

FL27 introduces significant changes to competition structures, with the internal engine updated to support the new formats in Career Mode.

  • UEFA Champions League and Europa League updated to the 36-team new formats.
  • World Cup expanded to 48 teams, with updated qualification and knockout structures.
  • Argentina and MLS expanded to 30 teams.
  • Updated French league and cup structures, and Belgian league format.
  • Updated Brazilian competition calendars and the 16-team Copa América format.
  • Various career mode, scheduling, and internal engine corrections.
The competition changes are integrated directly into the game executable without external scripts.

Current SP add-ons are compatible with FL27.

Commentaries
Existing commentary packs are compatible with FL27. Commentary v10 will be released separately, adding more player call names.

The current Face Pack 26/27 is compatible with FL27. A new update with additional and updated player faces will be released separately.

Current stadium packs are compatible with FL27. Updated stadium packs are being prepared for release.

Note: Existing custom stadiums may use their own lighting files, which take priority over the new FL Switcher lighting options.

Game Updates​

FL27 will receive updates and maintenance releases as needed, including bug fixes, database additions, transfer corrections, and general improvements.

The player database is reviewed periodically to include newly added players from Konami's database and incorporate any changes to player stats, along with minor transfer and database corrections.

New content is continuously being developed for Football Life and will be included in updates when ready. Additional features may also be introduced when they do not disrupt existing Master League or Become a Legend careers.

Changes that could disrupt existing career saves will generally be reserved for future major releases.

Installation​

  1. Download all installer parts, extract the files, and run SPFL27_setup.exe.
  2. Select an installation directory. Do not install over an existing game.
  3. Start Football Life using FL_2027 start.exe or the desktop shortcut.
Extract the installer using WinRAR .

Hey

I read the first post and can't see anything about English leagues.

I'm a Sheffield Wednesday supporter so reallllllly hoped league one would be included in FL27.

Are they?
