Score from penalties.

They changed the way you shoot penalties. Now the shot depends of how much you hold directional and shotting button ;)

its not hard actually.
u just press the shoot key and choose the direction while the player is running toward the ball.
how much you press is how much u increase angle.
if u try the old way, holding direction till the ball is shot u put it about 6-7 metres from the goal :D

yeah you are right mate ;)
 
what is really hard is to direction the ball precisely, or simply find the right moment to start pressing the direction.
the damn cpu shoots so precise, often on the internal of the post, damn it^^

System is lot better once you get used to it. More skill, less luck.

I scored 6/7 on my last penalty shootout. That is quite an improvement from the first penalties that were totally off target.
 
I like this system better. It takes a little getting used to, but tonight I had a cracking penalty shootout against Italy after a 20 minute match (PC). The shootout went down to the wire with the AI (Professional). In the end Buffon (!) missed his penalty for the AI and I won.
 
Fair enough if they changed the system, but they should have given you instructions on how to take penalties. It's been driving me nuts!

Yeah thats great & all but it make sno sense, I did a penalty shoot out & did not even move the stick slightly left & tapped the shot button & it went way wide???? so how do you score?? thanks

never mind I read a little more down the thread & figured it out hahahaha sorry thanks anyway

its obvious konami didnt want to show the new penalty kicking style introduced in pes, since without time expander the only way to kick one is having it during the match.
and, the one during the match is shot from tv camera, not usual one, so...
imho, the final style will be shown in the final build.
 
Is the keeper standing in the goal or something ? I saved 2 goals, I saw them bounce out after my keeper blocked, yet they counted! wtf!
