runtime error!!

Hi!
When I start pes2008.exe It's an error
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime ERROR
This aplication has recuested the Runtime to terminate an unusual way. Please contact the application team.

Windows XP SP2; Athlon 3500+, 1000 RAM, GF6600 GT 256Mb

What shoul I do?

Install Microsoft .NET framework 2.0 it should solve your problem.

There are lots of people with the same problem, because PES2008 is put together like a piece of shit.

I've been told that you can format your PC, re-install xp and it will cure it....but who wants to do that?

Okay, I had a spare few hours and gave it a go, and now it works. Although I don't expect that to be the case once I've (re)loaded all of my stuff onto it.

Do you have a second hard drive, if so then install pes2008 on it eg E:

But make sure have completely removed the pes2008 from your c: I had the same problem and removed pes2008 then ran a ms tool called msicuu2.exe. down load from here:- http://download.microsoft.com/download/E/9/D/E9D80355-7AB4-45B8-80E8-983A48D5E1BD/msicuu2.exe
