Retro FIFA Installer Links

But how do you know which one doesn’t need Origin or the EA app?
Any torrented copy won't need any external software to open, all you have to do is open FIFA15.exe and the game will run. If you're confused as to which website to torrent from, there is a website that begins with the number that's the product of 7 and 191 that you can use.

Ok thanks. I have tried other cpy versions and all have needed Origin or the EA app though.
That usually happens if you haven't pasted the crack files properly. If you're installing it from an ISO, there's a crack folder in the iso folder from which you have to paste all the files into the game folder

Just a quick update: here's a working installer of FIFA 09 (it's the Portuguese version but it also features English) which I think was still missing from the thread.
Going hunting for a working FIFA 10 then we'll most likely have pretty much all of the PS2 ones and beyond.

And this is a working FIFA 10 (cracked by Razor 1911). Like FIFA 09 it's a Portuguese/Spanish disc but it can be used in English too.

Two little suggestions:
Don't use the included keygen (as Bitdefender flags it as malicious), use one of the keys listed here instead.
I've had some trouble having it to work in Windows 8.1, but apparently setting compatibility to Windows XP SP3 did the trick and in compatibility mode it's working OK.

Has anyone been lucky on Windows 11 with pre 11 Fifas? I tried the Razor 10 one some time ago, but unfortunately it freezes on the language screen (it freezes the whole PC indeed.. I had to forcefully reset it as not even ctrl-alt-canc helped).

FIFA 10 by Razor works here (provided that it's a Portuguese/Spanish version, but it also has English) on Windows 11, Ryzen 5 3600 and AMD RX 5700XT.
Have you tried setting the compatibility to "Windows XP SP3" perhaps? That was what allowed mine to run (mine wouldn't even start though, it would instantly close after the RZR1911 logo).
EDIT: forget it, I'm stupid. It was installed on Windows 8. Sorry pal.

So, went ahead and tried Fifa 13, works great! Thought I'd share a few tips to troubleshoot some of the issues I encountered (on W10, and some apply for fifa 12 and 14):
1) EA App: this is not optional, you need to have it properly installed and running in order to open the game (same for fifa 14). Just click on the game's icon to go back. 2) You get a crash dump file: if you open the game and it immediately crashes out just go to Documents\FIFA 13\instance0 and set the instance0 bin file to "read only" (same for fifa 12). 3) dll errors: like the xinput1_1/3, just download and paste the missing dlls in the folder of your exe. 4) Unsupported characters: FIFA 13 and 12 don't support special characters (like á for instance). This means that you'll encounter issues around language selection or after setting up your profile. To fix this you'll have to create a new pc user name without the special character. 5) In Fifa13 the last point I mentioned leads to another issue: every time you want to load a profile your controller stops working and then the game eventually crashes. To fix this just copy the files "buttonDataSetup.ini" and "fifasetup.ini" from Documents\FIFA 13 to Local disk (C)\Users\your_new_user_name\Documents\FIFA 13. This is where the profiles are saved. 6) Fifaconfig.exe doesn't work: you'll have to manually set everything by editing the fifasetup_default.ini file (same for fifa 12/14). Changes by the config.exe are saved in the "fifasetup.ini" you find in Documents, but just make sure everything is sync. 7) RS stick and start button don't work: this is for generic/PS controllers (same for fifa 12/14). To fix this you'll need a "buttonData.ini" file from fifa 11 (what I did, and fifa 11 has the last working config.exe) or use x360 adapter or Steam Input. 8) Not an issue, but if you're like me and prefer the spanish commentary by Palomo-Kempes all you need to do is download the files (they're 4) and paste them in the "Game" folder. No need to regenerate. Then once in the game select "Spanish Mexican" (none of them are mexican tho XD) and that's it (same for Fifa 14).
And one last thing: remember to use "run as administrator" if you encounter save issues for these games.

i was a fan of bitdefender, but lately i'm a dissapointed that he detects almost everything that is related to gaming and mods as a threat. even ea sports offical patch for NHL games. because of this i think i'm gonna be back using windows defender.

Yes I've been seeing that too lately.
I can actually trust it when it says that a keylogger is malicious (you actually never know what's into those), but I had some more doubts about it being accurate when it flagged as malicious also the encrypter/decrypter included in the PES 2020 editor (well, malicious encrypters are a thing nowadays, but it wasn't the case).
It's also flagging as malicious a stadium assignment tool included in the FL 26 essential mod collection bu jusseppe, lately.

When I played FIFA 13 and 14 around a year ago, I didn't have to use the EA App for them. Also I think you should include DS4Windows in your post as another solution for the PS controller problem.
