Resolutions and Quality

Pes 2009 - PC

Right I have a 8800GT 512mb graphics card, so why can I not access anything higher than 1024 x 768 @ high quality but I can go to 1920 x 1200 @ medium quality?

I can't answer your question but can suggest you use kitserver to allow you to use any resolution you like on any settings

what are your pc's other specs?

Q6600 @ 3.6ghz, 4gb 1066mhz ram, DFI X48 mobo, Raptor HD.

Silly game, will look into the kitserver.

Might be caused by wrong or faulty graphics or monitor drivers....maybe...

Yeah, settings.exe fails to detect max resolution miserably.

I installed a new driver and now it seems to be detecting my res correctly.

Had 178.13, installed 180.43.

I have 178.24 official's installed.

Installed kitserver and got it to run at 1920 x 1200 with high quality and it runs fine. Thanks!
