I have played the game for hours and never been pickpocketed.
Where are you going for it to happen all the time?

I normally feed people to crocodiles.

That is probably why.
I don't ever visit St. Denis, spend most of my time in the country and Valentine.

TBH, apart from completing the game when it came out I have never got out of Valentine since game wise.

Saint Denis. You must have been pickpocketed at least once unless you've never been into the tailors there.

I kinda remembered this, but I also have a small recollection of some kids robbing you (I guess it's a scripted event, not sure at all).

I guess me not remembering, is more than enough reason to play the game again... ; )

Totally... the thing is, I still have a huge backlog of several games (never played), before I eventually get back to RDR2... and gotta do 'em all (preferably) before GTA 6 comes out (late November, if I remember correctly)😩

Namely: Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, Ghost of Yotei, 007 First Light and Crimson Desert (in no particular order, but I guess I might play the "shorter ones" first, so probably GOY and 007)... yeah, I'm screwed.

What an amazing game this is. I'm not one for stories on games and usually just skip all that to play the game but this gripped me throughout. When it comes to video games the word "masterpiece" gets thrown around a lot but this game actually deserves to be called a masterpiece.
I'm currently at the 2nd part of prologue as John and then after I believe it unlocks the open world, so I'll stop playing then and visit the open world at a later date. Amazing stuff!

100% this game is a Masterpiece.

For me there has only been a couple of actual masterpieces, which are incredible on 1st play through but no game has been worth messing around with and trying new things than RDR2.

Red Dead Redemption 2 - Incredible game, story was amazing, side quests were even better than story.
Knights of the Old Republic - Easily the best game I played story wise, the massive twist never saw coming and it single handily the best story in a game ever.
Last of Us - Again the story, gameplay and dynamic is incredible.

That to me are the only 3 games I would call masterpieces, every other high tier game had something wrong with them in sort aspect.

I don't normally go for story driven games so I'm a bit 50/50 on playing The last of us. It's a bit weird for me really because I like a good story if I'm watching TV but for gaming I want to get straight into the gameplay and I find myself skipping lost of dialogue (besides RDR2 which I've now 100% completd the entire story) There's loose ends I will tie up later like compendium and off missions so I'll go back and do that at a later date. Plus, I always end up getting distracted by playing some incarnation of PES or ISS. Was definitely worth the break playing RDR2 though. Amazing!

Last of Us isn't just a good story it is also a great game.
