Now, i have something to say on the gameplay patches i've seen here and the problem here with these gameplay patches which attempt making the game more realistic is that yair12 and spock2005 view is outdated.
I played spock's gameplay patch and the game was good and enjoyable, but look pretty much of what he did, the problem his gameplay will causes that every match will essentially feel the same (global editing).
With yari's latest patch it's a good patch like i said in his thread but dosen't really further the realism
PES 2011 is not like the old PES games where most teams and the AI functioned and played all in the same style! Every teams play to how the tactics and team management settings are organized unlike with the older games where all CPU teams sorted of followed the same gameplan.
Take for example these two 15 minute matches i had vs Barcelona:
Just now using Yair's patch i used Bordeaux vs Barcelona and won, very, very easily 3-0, Barcelona didn't have one clear all game, gave the ball away stupidly and it very simple to use the trough balls, tackle their players and score simple goals.

I also have given pretty much every premierleague their tactics which mirrored how they play in real life, i did this for my West Brom Master league, i had a worse defeat than this 5-0 to Spurs and they had 60% of the possession
One big issue which this eliminates is the AI keeping the ball, to get the AI to effectively keep the ball better, you have to edit their tactics/gameplan and formation! Give them the right tactics
People need to think a bit more about: If you want the game to be realistic, have Real Madrid, Barca etc.. been given the settings they need? How can Barca play like Barca when they aren't instructed to?
Basically everyone if you want teams to play realistically go to the JustPES formations and tactics thread, Konami has given us the tools, just their are so out of touch with current affairs and how each team players, by default teams aren't setup correctly.
I hope this improves your game, i also hope yari and spock continue their good work and factor these team specific tactics tot heir work to further the game's realism.

I played against Barca using Aston Villa (similar rated team compared to Bordeaux) But i gave Barca this formation and gameplan below:
