PS3 Sixaxis controller with PES2008 PC

Hello,

I need to buy a new controller for PES. I don't want to use Dual Shock 2 + adapter. I'd like to play with a Playstation pad, though.

Since I don't own a PS3, I wanted to ask about your experience with PS3 pad and PES2008 on PC. There are drivers that allow us to use this controller on PC, but there are also many reports of malfunctioning. Since I can't try it (I would have to buy the controller), can someone help me?

I can tell you about my experience with it. When I connected it to my PC, I wasn´t able to get it to work. Also I didn´t find any drivers. I tried this on Win XP. If someone is getting it to work, just let us know.

The drivers I was talking about are these:

I'm using that gamepad and it works without any problem.
just use the sixaxis driver and it wil work perfect
 
And the differences between the PS2 Pad and the PS3 Pad? they "feel" almoust the same in our hands? any major differences or issues from the ps2 to ps3 pad?

Can i use ps3 pad with most of other games also?

I think they feel the same, I read that they improved the analog sticks, though.

I'd be more than happy with the PS2 controller, it's just that in order to use it I have to connect it to the adapter which always has some sort of lag, or doesn't always react when pushing a button.
So, the only other way to use a Playstation controller is this PS3 pad with these drivers...
 
Yes, it works. I played on ps3 but it was no sense of it. Now I'm playing on PC with sixaxis. Everything works fine, also framerate.

today i've just bought the ps3 ds3 to play the Pes2009 demo, but the analog thing after i've set it, when i try to perform the 360 dribble it will "pass" the ball with that "power" bar.. like pressing it... but when i test the control it's working fine..~.~
any ideas?
 
I play with sixaxis by bluetooth... is the better option.

Search tutorials in google, it's easy to install.

Using Vista+Dual Shock 2 Player and Converter and it works fine after installing the right drivers :)
 
I run Vista and I've never been able to get the sixaxis pad to work. However, I've been using a PS2 pad for a couple of years with an adapter and it works perfectly.
