PS2 Pro Evolution 2009 Substitution Bug

It may be of interest to all that WE2009 (i.e. JAP PES) seems to have corrected the substitution bug - I've played a number of games, and did not notice such. I think it'd be worthwhile if we get some feedback from other users, but signs are positive!
 
Yes, I notice the same. Let's hope there is no bug in this version. By the way, the gameplay in WE2009 is great!

I got this message this morning... at least they are now acknowledging there is a problem and they are trying to fix it..

I'm well pisshed over this I have paid for both psp & ps2 versions.. for me they really have to fix it... The game has been ruined by this bug...

They seem to have changed there tune now with outright denial

the solution posted seems to work so well played for finding it
 
It is a very annoying bug. It has happened to me after I have scored or conceded - Most often the player i removed was the weak point in the team. To have him back is annoying and infuriating - especially when the goal you conceed comes through that weak point.
 
its annoying...it always happens to me whenever i take barcelona , realmadrid , arsenal and Holland. AN injured player u subsitute..he cms back again...and it only happens if i subsitute the player in the first ten minutes or 60-75min
 
there is a way to avoid the bug if you look a few posts up. I do it for every sub and haven't had a problem since.
