Hey guys,

I need some help to develop my crossing on the flanks!!
O - long or high cross
OO - first post (short) or low cross
OOO - ground

*sorry my english i dont know the name of OOO in english!

- I want to know what's the difference when I use L1 to cross?

- If I press R2 before crossing does it improve accuracy?

Thanks!

holding L1 in your own half enables you to use the three funtions of the O button. or when running its best to hold L1 to cross as you do not have to aim in any direction it will send it into the box for you

yeah, thats how i do it! try pressing DOWN or DOWN/RIGHT (orDOWN/LEFT depends on the direction u play). this way i score a lot, blasting some volleys from the short corner of the penalty area!

LOL
I'm pretty sure that when Abrava said he didn't know how to say it in English, he was referring to the "ground cross" not the button display..

Thanks man.. its exactly what i intended to say! ground cross, not the button, of course!!

please correct me if im wrong:
crossing with R2 : increase the chances to score doing a better cross

crossing with L1 : helps your crossing aiming at the first player (more in front)!

and directionals
<- : crossing to the player outside the box or in front of big box
-> : inverse of <-
up : second post
down : first post

thanks

No, you get it wrong. Crossing with R2 is high arc cross. It's not better/ worse than normal one... it's just much higher, "balloon like" cross, useful when you want to lob the defenders, or if your attackers are much taller than defenders. Generally, in dynamic actions, it's not very useful. L1 is early cross - normally outside penalty area "zone" (penalty box + space between it and side lines) by pressing O you will perform "long pass", holding L1 switches it to cross mode.
I just wonder does holding R1 when crossing still works (well, I'm holding it anyway)? There is no info about it in manual... in previous versions it was "flat" cross.
