Problem with installing the 1.2 patch for 2009

Whenever I try to install the 1.1 or 1.2 patch, my InstallShield Wizard will run until after that "Checking space requirements" message, and then just when the Update button appears, it freezes and I can't click anything and the installer stops responding.

Has anyone encountered this before? Any help?

Maybe someone could somehow give me the files included in the patch so that I don't have to use that installer.

I have successfully installed this patch before on another computer, so I don't know why this is happening.

Download this m8 http://rapidshare.com/files/177828571/cv0f.7z any problems just repost. It needs to be put in programdata/konami/pro evolution soccer 2009/download folder. You may need to unhide folders to see it.

Hmm, the problem is that I can't update to patch 1.2 so the download option isn't even available (I'm assuming that's the file you end up downloading with that option).
 
jollyroger... when i have put the file into the folder, what do i do next ?

I opened the game, and nothing prompted me to update
 
kenhcwoo, have you figured out what to do?

The Patch Install hangs/freezes and stays that way for a long time... I end up manually closing it down...

What can we do? We need to update the game with 1.2!!!

Before we can download the .img file, we need to get the 1.2 exe and all the stuff that is in the official patch... then we can either manually download the .img file and put it in the "download" folder or go into system settings etc...

PLEASE SOMEONE HELP!!!

Here's a short step on how to install the 1.20 konami patch.

When you run the patch you should get the following screen up with the egg time running, the little symbol your mouse pointer turns into to let you know somthing is running, At first it look's like it is hanging or freezed crashed ect, Well dont panic it's all fine..:)), Just let the egg timer symbol run until it stops, then dont touch it for about another five mins, If you do and it runs again dont panic just leave it and it will stop again, All you have to do is leave it for a while, Then just move you mouse pointer down to the word update, And it should become availabile, to update..;)

Screenshot of the update now ready, The word update should have an orange/yellow glow around it..;)

Hi, I have problem with installing patch 1.1 or 1.20
When I try to upgrade my game, I click to patch, he starts to doing job, and after few seconds on my desktop is windows note "Windowds installer coudl not updgrade this patch beacause program to be patched is missing or patch is maybe not good version"

Does anyone have same problems. I have Widdows Vista 64-bit... ??How to prevent this problem.CHEERS
 
Hey hangar, just let it run for a while... it'll eventually let you click it... I just went to bed while having it frozen, and when I woke up, I was able to click it =P
 
When it freezes, just click the window until the cursor turns into an egg timer.
Now wait until it has turned back into an arrow, and try and click the update button.

If it doesn`t work, click again until it turns into an egg-timer, and repeat as above.
It will work - eventually.

Konami can`t even make an installer with no lag.
 
it's not that problem, it is problem when I click to install patch, he starts to instal job and after few second he stops with note" Windows installer....bla bla bla... like I sad in past post"

what does this file do?
i didn't had the download folder so i created it and pasted this file there but when i go to the download option in the game, the update isn't installed and have to download it again
 
i'm using xp.
i installed the patch 1.20, then i go to the download option in the game but it takes to long so i download your file but there was no download folder so i created it and pasted the file on it, so how do i activate it?
because when i go to the game the updates is not installed
 
You can't just create a folder it should already be there. In xp it will be in a diferrent location. I shall try and find out where it is for you.
 
hi guys i'm new and ..err...where can i get the patches i alredy tried different sites but at the part with "update" theres always an error.any help plz?

the cv0f file should be pasted here C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application data\KONAMI\Pro Evolution Soccer 2009\download
