I have just bought a new macbook (2.4ghz, 2gb Ram, standard graphics card - "Intel GMA X3100 graphics processor with 144MB of DDR2 SDRAM shared with main memory3").

I am now considering whether or not to get a PS3 or Xbox 360, or would pro evo 2009 be just as good if I played it on my macbook (via parallels so it's played on windows) hooked up to my TV.

What do you think?

Thanks

Prob wont be able to play it either way on a Macbook and absolutly no chance at all with parallels, if your planning to put windows on your mac use boot camp dont even think about installing Parallels.

Bootcamp will be a proper operating system, with correct drivers and is a proper installation.

Parallels is a virtual machine and runs within an operating system in the first place, so you are running two operating systems instead of one.
Parallels also just uses default drivers, usually standard SVGA device so it wont run PES any how.

I work all day with Parallels and Boot Camp as part of my job and I would never recommend Parallels to anyone, it is slow unresponsive and takes alot of time to do anything, especially if you have less than 4GB of ram with 2GB dedicated to the Windows side.
