Post your favourite football-related photographs

Love how you edited your post, and added those pics just because I had a little go at Ronaldo. Winding up football fans is just too easy

Btw, I think Ronaldo wasn't playing in that match either. Mashcherano had him right in his pocket ;)

What, like Ferdinand had Torres in his pocket? You better enjoy Mash whilst it lasts, he is off in the summer!

Yup, Ferdinand did have Torres in his pocket. Torres was unable to do anything. And yes, you can laugh, Mash is going to Italy this summer :(

:lmao::lmao::lmao: 3 penatly misses in one game, he is as good as the English in penalty taking

I remember that one Ash...that was also his highest and lowest point of his career.Martin Palermo will forever be known as the player who missed 3 penalties in a single game!

Anyway, this picture is certainly up there with the best football moments ever.

hand of cheating crack addict.

or is that over the mark?

I wouldn't call it one of the best moments ever, but it was certainly one of the most famous.

look @ messi , little cheating tw@t
he did another one a few days ago against villareal but he got a yellow for it this time, the keeper was running out and he lobbed him with his hand before putting it in the net with his head, cant belive he doesnt feel any shame in scoring cheat goals like that

Goal that sent us to the final in 2005 against PSV.... I was shitting myself because they completely outplayed us, but Massimo scored the qualifying goal and I went mad.

This may not be a photo, but...

These are some of the celebrations that took place when Benfica won the league last time... It was celebrated throught the world.. Africa, USA, Europe... Benfica has 14 million fans, and I found this video amazing..having 10 000 people on the roads of Newark celebrating is something unbelieveble, in my opinion..

Beating Roma 7-1 felt so good after the torrid time the fans had in the first leg:

I remember my whole street came round my house for the final, everyone wearing Barcelona shirts and scarves:

To be honest , even being a United fan i would want any english team to win the final of the Champions League ...even Liverpool but i did actually laugh my ass of at last years final :D (only cause i thought you robbed them in 05)

Easy with quoting every single image please, single ones are okay, as this is a photo thread, there's going to be a lot of pictures and its going to get annoying :)

YoungGun - It wasn't because Arsenal were in the final, it could of been anyone (apart from United), we all thought Barca deserved the European Cup that year for playing beautiful football throughout. :)

Barça deserved the European Cup that year because they beat Benfica in quarter-final! We played so well in Europe that season. Unfortunately they beat us.

One of the biggest yet nicest shocks in international football

That was one awful day, i was about to cry and kill those Greeks... They didn't deserve to win euro 2004, we just outplayed every team with an effective yet attractive football, they were only playing around the defense and got lucky enough to score that lonely goal that gave them the champions title. Even Maradona said they were amazingly lucky in all games they played. Even if luck plays a big part in the game they were 90% lucky and 10% effective.

You can call it luck if you want, but that Greek team had probably the best defence I have ever seen. Beating France, Czech Republic and Portugal without conceding a goal, is no luck.

x2 you cant make it to a final based on luck, they were deserved winners and thats it

Yeah yeah and they played the best football ever! Come on please! Compare the football played by Portugal and the Czech Republic with the Greeks is absurd.
The best defence?! Yes, probably. Play with 11 defenders is undoubtedly effective...
I just hope that Spain, Sweden and Russia crushing them in Euro2008.

poor rehagel, probably one of the most underrated coaches in europe.
what's more funny (and sad) is that portuguese and turkish (both for obvious reasons ) aren't the only ones who still didn't realize what a great team greece is.
actually most of the people, the so called "football experts", still underestimate greece's great achievements.

of course it takes to deeply know football to appreciate their gameplay. they have no cristiano ronaldos, no pirlos, no kakà.... no surprise if the majority of the football fans don't get exctited by their football. afterall the majority of the so called "fans" don't understand anything about the game. they just look for big individual plays, and they can't recognize some good football neither when they're watching it....

but what the hell, u don't have to understand football to realize they're a hell of a team. u just have to look at their numbers. but they don't seem very intersted in numbers..... so they always come out with the same reply to any kind of remark: luck

- they won their group stage at euro 2004 qualifications (beating team like spain and ukraine). luck
- they won their group stage at euro 2004 (although they had to face team like portugal, spain and russia). luck.
- they beated the hosting team (portugal) TWICE on its own turf. luck.... both times
- they won the tournament. luck
- they won their group stage during euro 2008 qualifications. luck
- they made more points than any other team (in any group) during euro 2008 qualifications. luck
- during euro 2008 qualifications they scored more goals than many great teams, whic are well known for their attacking mentality (like portugal). it doesn't matter. they still are a defensive team which plays 11 defenders.... so once again, it was just luck.

damn this team is the luckiest in history :lmao:
