Poor performance 16:10 monitor

PES 2010 used to run great when I had a 4:3 CRT monitor, but since I upgraded to a new 16:10 monitor it's very laggy. I don't know if it's because I've had to increase the resolution or because of the monitor, but even if I turn down the detail to low it's still laggy. Anyone else experienced and fixed this?

Is it exists widescreen support in PES ? Are you checked needed option in game settings ?

What are your full pc specs and what monitor brand and model do you have?

2.67 GHZ Intel Core 2 Duo
ATI Radeon 4850
Windows 7 64-bit

and I have a Samsung Syncmaster T240HD (a 24-inch with max resolution of 1920x1200)

Yup I recognize the problem, have the same on my pc, it plays fine when i revert back to a 4:3 resolution but that's ofcourse a bit stupid.

My PC is a quad core AMD phenom II 3ghz, radeon hd 5770...
PES is just bad at running widescreen res imho.

Exact same problem for me guys. The game runs superb when on 4:3 resolution though

+1, i play 4.3 letterbox unchecked, coz 16.9 runs like crap

on a lg flatron m227wdp 22"

just didn't touch the settings in kitserver

Did you check the monitor refresh rate? sometimes is set to 30hz and the top quality is up to 60
