Pimp MY pes

Hate this time of year! one year on since the release of pes 6 and i have it pimped to my perfection , practically changed every thing in the game its bloody fabulous then comes pes 2008! what are you expected to do just scrap everything and start again, would like to hear your views on this, the only thing i have thought of is to install the worlds team patch on my pc and to get pes 2008 for playstation 2....or maybe ill leave it as it is on pc i dont like to play playstation version of pes
 
i LOVE this time of the year!
For me the chance to play a new and better PES is always exhausting :applause:
And i also like to check the forums every day for patch updates, etc. i think it's awesome \\:o/
 
I agree with you such a shame all the kits, stadiums etc made by the community would possibly come down as a total waste in pes2008 but its still early days and I am confident more things will be discovered as time pass by. For me I would stick to PES6 atm after all the hardwork and time on patching.

One thing is for sure I will not leave pes6 now until pes2008 is released.
 
Yep...when I buy and install PES 2008, I'm gonna have to uninstall my PES6 to conserve disk space....kinda sad
 
yup... just got my PES06 the perfect way... with as many HD kits as possible... all the transfers / faces / stadia... and now 2008 comes out!
I really hate playing the new versions unpatched, so will probably wait til around Christmas and go onto Pes2008 then. Hopefully there'll be a lot of kits and option files etc... out by then. It just makes such a difference!
 
I like modding pes, it doesn't seem right to get it how you want it. Then all you can do is play it! Some of the fun is in the modding.
 
Patching PES6 this year has been phenominal. Right now I swear my game is 10 times better than PES8 demo.

I am loathe to dispense with 300+ stadiums,lifelike pitches,2000 + faces and hair,100 + balls,adboards for every stadium in every league.
Chants for almost every major side asigned , Fifa commentary patch.

Coupled with Chimps option file, which greatly improves gameplay also I have edited all transfers and even put in Leeds and Classic Leeds teams..

Have decided to stick with this for some time to come yet.

Also I suspect new editing tools and anything like Kitserver
are a long way off yet, if at all.
 
sounds like my pes 6 mate, and really there wont be much difference in pes 2008 other than the odd trick here and there, like some one else said ill stick with pes 6 until after christmas probaly or might just keep it and get pes 2008 for my ps2
 
Don´t worry m8! When PES2008 real editing begins, you´re gonna forget PES6 for sure. This is a new era of editing, a better one. It´s a shame to have lost all those great stadiums and rest of things, but If you used to love faces, kits, and rest of edited stuff in PES6, this next-gen editing is gonna blow your mind.

ps: let´s hope we can make something about goalkeepers to KEEP THE BALL IN THEIR HANDS. They´re SO, SO, SO bad that they almost help you to convert goals :shock:
 
Does anyone know anything about the face-mapping feature in pes2008?
I've heard that you can use the xbox camera to map photos to players faces.
This would be superb for the PC version where it would be easy to add faces to all the missed players, even for noobs, though wherger they'll look as good as textures made by decent facemakers I'm not sure.
I'm not even sure this feature will make it to the PC version but I'm hoping so.

according to the WEblog site, PC Action have added faces on pC using the face-map feature. Unlike EA who have added it to Tiger Woods 08 for 360 and PS3 but not PC!

Yeah, sucks. I only just finished downloading all the hot shit...
 
What I'll probably do, is play PES6 until PES2008 can be properly edited, then make the switchover

So I'll keep playing PES6 for a good few months yet :)

look at the demo. after just 1(!!) week there was a time expander and a kitserver and many possibilitys to patch things like a ball, turfs, kits, faces, etc. ...
Don't you think it's strange to stick with something what is definately (my opinion) way worse then the new thing? Or don't you like Pes 2008?

HMMM nah ill stick with my super duper pes 6 pimped to the hilt.......for now! ;)
 
i have been doing this since PES3, for me, modding my PES is as much as playing it!! I kept all the old versions, just save my modded files on a DVD. My PES4 is modded by far to the max!

Cannot wait to get stuck into PES 2008, bring it on!

as far as me i'm already recollecting all kind of files (boots, balls, graphics, etc) made by this amazing editors, to put them on the final game that will be released on october 25!! And my old PES6, sadly is gone from my PC, .. but i think it's time for the new era!!

PES2008 will be outstanding!!

Snap, less than two weeks to wait now. God, I am 28 but feel like a kid at christmas, !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cheers bud, time flies!! This new version sure looks promising!

I've already modded the demo version with new football, kits, adboards, banners etc..lol. It looks miles better, I hate the 'who ate all the pies' default banners. For what Konami know about putting a decent game together, they know nothing about what banners to use ingame..lol.
