PES2016 - PC Version Discussion Thread

Re: PES2016 - PC Version Discussion Thread [ASIM/BHATTI TALK = NOT PC RELATED]

Thank you Tom!!.. The trolling was horrendous there for a while.

Re: PES2016 - PC Version Discussion Thread [ASIM/BHATTI TALK = NOT PC RELATED]

^Please, this isn't troll. This is a fact. I'll say no more.

Anyway, I just hope Konami keeps the graphics good as PES 14. Atleast that's playable and good.

Re: PES2016 - PC Version Discussion Thread [ASIM/BHATTI TALK = NOT PC RELATED]

You guys don't understand. PC gaming is dying and will be dead eventually.

And you the pirates are ignoring the fact.

I'm Fifa fanboy- so don't say that I'm defending PES. But PES have no interest in PC at all- because of piracy and some tiny biny money from Sony.

Interesting, suddenly accusing people pirates for disagreeing with you. And it's not a fact when it's just your opinion.

Now I'm going to counter your opinion.

Piracy was always a problem with PC AS WELL as other platforms particularly the X360 in its heyday. Just for the record Steam OS and Steam Hardware are niche markets, and they will in no way replace fully fledged desktop computers anytime soon.

Have you actually tested SteamOS? It's probably years before its a viable alternative.

Steam focusing more on Linux and less on Windows doesn't mean they're leaving the market.
Gabe Newell is a smart man and he knows that Windows is a source of income for Valve as a game dev as well.

I have 127 games on my Steam and Origin libraries combined and most of them are multi-OS versions(Mac and Linux are both considered PCs btw).
The type of deals you can get on Steam sales you just can't get on consoles.

More and more so-called exclusives are coming to PC and I would say more and more people are building their own rigs starting with mid-range GPUs. You can refer to the hardware survey on Steam.

On the other hand, I feel console gaming is stagnating or is less impactful than previous gen. It has nothing new to offer other than possibly VR(which is already a niche on PC).

When you look at the most popular types of PC Games(RTS/FPS/Moba/MMOs) there are plenty of experiences on PC you just can't replicate with just a joystick/gamepad.

KONAMI doing the opposite of EA doesn't in any way reflect the state of PC gaming.
It's a one off for PES Productions(who will be left behind), Kojima's team did a way better job with another KONAMI franchise.

Re: PES2016 - PC Version Discussion Thread [ASIM/BHATTI TALK = NOT PC RELATED]

where and when can we download the demo?

Re: PES2016 - PC Version Discussion Thread [ASIM/BHATTI TALK = NOT PC RELATED]

Probably after release. Btw, at what time [including GMT] PES will get released? It's gettings 16th September after 55 minutes here.

Re: PES2016 - PC Version Discussion Thread [ASIM/BHATTI TALK = NOT PC RELATED]

If you have a decent net speed and bandwidth, buy the game on Steam and request a refund if it doesn't meet your expectations.

I got a refund for ARK on Steam after a few days playing it. :p

Origin has a similar plan, the Great Game Guarantee I believe.
My sister once bought the Sims 3 and she didn't like it after playing for a few hours, got a refund no questions asked.

I think that's probably the closest thing we can get to a demo now.

Re: PES2016 - PC Version Discussion Thread [ASIM/BHATTI TALK = NOT PC RELATED]

Once PC dies, PES will be next gen and good port on steam- cause it will be a console itself.
PC gaming isn't dying anytime soon.
Also, Steam machines are mid-range PCs themselves. If I wished so, I could easily install SteamOS on the machine I'm writing this post on.
The good side of SteamOS is that it's Debian-based so it would hopefully mean more games would get ported to Linux (which means they could be played on even more PCs than they can be played on at the moment, this is the exact opposite of dying to me).

Also, lots of people are buying powerful rigs to play both today's and tomorrow's games... Are they just throwing their money down the drain? I don't think so.

EDIT: Sorry Tom, I won't feed him anymore.

I remember 10 years ago when I was kid and my parents didn't want to spend money on games , I pirated the game I wanted now 10 years later the piracy is still here with full power , and the pc games are still here even on the next gen graphics you are just too naive my friend .

And are you kidding me ? Just because steam is going to launch a console that doesn't mean PC is going off ....The games VALVE make will be for their consoles and PC it will be PC , PS , XBOX and whatever steam console is called you are just one little troll or hater or i don't know how to call ppl like you . You know how much money steam does from PC right ? U think all of those will switch to steam console ? Just lol mate .

Im in england and this is what it currently says on my steam

PES 2016 comes with a whole host of new and improved features that is set to raise the bar once again in a bid to retain its title of ‘Best Sports Game’:

• Master League – completely overhauled from presentation to running of your team
• New night time lighting and player models using Fox Engine
• Human motion – 3x more animations for players and goalkeepers
• Dynamic weather – Rain starts during matches
• Deeper team intelligence – Player and team behaviour taken to the next level

PES 2016 is the Official Video Game of UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League and UEFA Super Cup; celebrate its 20th anniversary with the most advanced football game ever. Love the Past, Play the Future!

It all says that it will unlock in 1 day and 5 hours which is confusing because it is almost 8PM here which means it will unlock on the 17th but it says it will be released on the 16th

Re: PES2016 - PC Version Discussion Thread [ASIM/BHATTI TALK = NOT PC RELATED]

Exactly, release date says 16th September, but it will be unlocked 17th at 1:00 AM. Everything about new PES is crazy :D

Re: PES2016 - PC Version Discussion Thread [ASIM/BHATTI TALK = NOT PC RELATED]

Then KONAMI are crying about hackers and pirates rofl , who will buy this utter shit for his PC ?

Re: PES2016 - PC Version Discussion Thread [ASIM/BHATTI TALK = NOT PC RELATED]

Those PC screens look fucking woeful.

Regarding the "PC gaming is dying debate"......surely the future of gaming is cloud-based once average internet speeds are up to the task? Granted, it's a couple of generations away at least, but the days of the box-under-the-TV are numbered in the long term, regardless of whether it's a console or PC.

Re: PES2016 - PC Version Discussion Thread [ASIM/BHATTI TALK = NOT PC RELATED]

I think it might fail. I mean they might have promised but did they pinky swear. Gota read the small print

Re: PES2016 - PC Version Discussion Thread [ASIM/BHATTI TALK = NOT PC RELATED]

TURF!! :FAIL::FAIL::FAIL: Hahahahhaha! I would not spend even a quid on this piece of shit. And I won't do so.

KONAMI :TTTH: AS I have mentioned a couple of months ago. The last chance for this company has been just used. Negatively used, so I'm not following this, and any PES-PC releated topic in the future. This is fucking 21st century, 2015 year. Do not let any business to treat you like KONAMI is doing it, guys. :BYE:

Re: PES2016 - PC Version Discussion Thread [ASIM/BHATTI TALK = NOT PC RELATED]

What ever happened to that nVidia event that PC PES 2016 was supposed to be shown at?

Do Konami ever tell the truth? They really are a bizarrely inept company:FAIL:
