PES2011- too many low scores

Having been playing PES2011 since its release and I am still having difficulty in scoring. Most of my games ended like stalemate or 1-0. The problem lies with the new shooting system. It is extremely difficult to score from the flanks. Either the shot is too soft for the keeper or it is too high for the post. Also it is difficult to perform a 1st timer shot unlike PES2010. In the same context, it is also difficult to pass the ball accurately. Just wonder whether you guys are having the same problem as I am having or is it my outdated graphic card that is causing my woes. Suggestion on how to hit a thunderbolt is appreciated.

It all takes some practicing mate. Don't give up, practice, stay calm and you will be rewarded with decent amount of goals. PES 2011 is the best football game ever.

So I think from the replies from certain members means that they have been able to score quite a lot of goals then
 
from what i see online more than a half cant even shoot
so yes, they dont learn new things

its simple go to training mode and try out
u can do this methodical and learn the whole game by that
too much to ask i think.. not

half the mates from previous pes titles cant play 011 its sad
if theres no certain football background or understanding they just fall apart

pes 3-09 was so much easier rly

the new shooting and defence system mainly, but also the deeper tactics
u cant set up the players work rate anymore, nor the cards..

u need to understand what a certain player can and when/where he can pull it off etc.

its a whole new level
 
Yesterday I tried something different. I played with MU (since they got so many top class players) and yes, the game is indeed tough at the Top Level.So difficult to get a clear shot at goal. Fortunately,the players are not sluggish like those in the Championship. I have quite a number of shots at goal (finally). I hit a scorcher too. Then I have the ML - Championship restarted with Classic Players unlocked (Gaming Access Patch- how I wish they have a white ball in Championship). Bought some Classic players to boost up the strength of Portsmouth and guess what. I beat Nottingham Forest 3-0 and three of the goals came from long shots. 2 of them were scored by a classic player and 1 by Utaka.The "feel good" factor is back for now. I agree that we need to practice a lot especially with different strikers as they indeed behaved differently.
 
thats the last step, to learn your players

before that u need to learn the new game mechanics and try to find your playstyle/formation


its easier to play with one team only at the beginning to reach a certain level

first u struggle with the defence system and the shooting, then u learn when to make manual pass, the last thing is the dribbling and when u get more confident in the offense
thats the final "it clicked" point when the game opens up coz u can create chances
