PES2010 discussion thread

Re: PES2010 News & Rumours thread

It would be nice if in the new PES game you could alter the camera angles anyway you wanted, like in previous PES games. Also more stadiums should have an intimidating atmosphere and the referees should make mistakes like getting offside and foul decisions wrong.

^^^This is what you were intending to say, right?

Anyways, i agree with what you said, except for the part about stadiums having an intimidating atmosphere. I don't think a human player would be "intimidated" by a stadium in a computer game. :CONFUSE:

Maybe Konami should make the stadiums atmosphere more varied and lively, with different kinds of chants included.

Re: PES2010 News & Rumours thread

Anyone have any idea when we will get some real PES news - not just PR crap?

Re: PES2010 News & Rumours thread

I've just read hes meeting up with some people from Konami. That probably means that they might tell him something but he probably won't be able to reveal anything. Well, thats my view anyway.

I agree. None of the gamers are interested in an advertising contract.

Only positive thing about it is that Konami now can buy new lisences ;)

Re: PES2010 News & Rumours thread

So does this mean we will be seeing more real ad boards around stadiums and possibly hopeully better signs instead of wheres the celery? and who ate all the pies? lol

Although I guess I would miss them if they were to go :(

and new licences would interest a lot of people. I think this news is pretty relevant...this means that Konami can spend more money on the development of the game...this should be good news...surely ???

Re: PES2010 News & Rumours thread

TBH as long as it's concrete I'd like to know, I think the rumors of some company advertising would be a bit sad, the rumor of 360 movement on the other hand...

Re: PES2010 News & Rumours thread

Ahhh cmon guys, nothing better than scoring a good goal or seeing a reply of a near miss and seeing your home fans with signs of "Lets eat pies" and "Cmon celery", if they was to change that to something like "Cmon you blues" I wouldnt have that same gooey feeling inside...

But yeah, I think the advertisement thing is going to change PES2010 for the better, hopefully in edit mode we can have our own, create your ad from scratch and stuff! Heres hoping! :D

Re: PES2010 News & Rumours thread

I honestly have not brought one of the next gen games yet iv played them round my mates house and thought it was ok..nothing special especially to my patched ps2 version pes 2008 which is an amazing game so much better than next gen in my opinion.

I do really wish for an amazing next gen pes it would make me buy a ps3 alone as other games dont interest me i prefer drinking in the pub going home and shitting myself in my sleep then waking up to play pes on a hangover.

theres so much that needs to be done isnt there to improve next gen pes it just cant be expected to happen this year can it?
the gameplay is all wrong, the look is all wrong, the music just well all of it really!

well if they let you change teams in the master league and manage diffrent clubs that will improve it massivley along with no re gens thats would be a major start and a more interactive BAL mode these 2 things would be a good start so simple to do

I think it's interesting to compare the render shots. Last year it was similar to the actual graphics on the full game so motwyw.

Not only that, look...the shirt's untucked. :CONFUSE:

Re: PES2010 News & Rumours thread

I was thinking exactly that. If last year we couldn't have untucked shirts, and Messi had his shirt tucked in the promotional material, does that mean that this year we'll finally have the untucked shirts back, since Messi has his untucked?

I know untucked shirts have become a recurring joke around here, but I really feel they are a crucial part of the graphic rendition of a player.
Also, it is so damn easy to implement them, that I can't get my head around their absence in 2008 and 2009.

Re: PES2010 News & Rumours thread

Anyone else notice the length of the shorts? They seem shorter.

Tell me about it! Also, mixing the kit set-up. It made life so much easier for Milan derbies but they took it out after one game.

FacePalm moment.
