I don't normally reply to threads like these, but what I can say is your a GEEK for taking that screen shot, and attemping to start an argument.

I arn't a dedicated gamer myself, I buy a game, play it for a while and move on, and have done with most pro evo's AND fifa, so I can't tell you all the flaws with the games and the good points, but what I can tell you is that this Pro 10 has improved dramaticly from the previous releases and if you can't tell that then get yourself down to specsavers.

I purchased Fifa 10 and was pleased with it for about 1 hour untill I tried the Pro 10 demo, and once again Fifa looks unrelistic with its cartoon style graphics, so please don't start a thread anymore on flaws with what is a fantasticly improved game.

And also remember the game is new and there are bound to be glitches which will/should be rectified in future updates, so give it a rest.

Mate i think u didn't get the thread topic, if you don't want to speak about graphics you can also don't post in here.
I would like only to understand what these guys see of awesome in this graphic, cause i can't see nothing great from the distance. Zooming in the replays shows a whole other game.
These people can't say this is a great game,(always graphically) when during the gameplay the players look like zombies.

Faces in 2010 has 2 models, for far camera and for close ups. A tool for face editing is being made for resolve this question. Search in the forum and you'll find something about it! =D

+1 yeah i agree ...it needs to unlock the LOD settings on the widescreen camera ...i tried to search the LOD memory locations no good also someone suggested to use riva tuner and use the LOD settings that also did not work so what to do man ....it sucks cant play like that which is otherwise a cool game i have gone back to pes 6

this issue is not new and was there in previous releases too

I agree with Alexbeckhs too..we need to sort this LOD thing, hopefully Juce can do it again.. otherwise we wont evan be able to see untucked shirts from the playing cameras, wich suck since every player will look like the same :(

Either way, Juce's Kitserver will sort it out - that usually comes with an LoD tweaker. :) It doesn't really matter, because you only see these sort of things if you go looking for them, which you won't do when playing the game ordinarily.

Also it was said from a couple of reviews that the level of detail is improved in the full game as compared to that of the demo. So lets just wait and see

It's odd if the game still has LoD issues - I thought the so called 'NG' consoles didn't have draw distance issues anymore? Obviously, they do...

The PC is always held back by sodding console ports, no matter which console they're from!

Don't you think it's more to do with konami's poor programming as well? I mean this is a company that only offers 3 graphical settings for PC details (low, medium & high) and doesn't even support 16:10 resolutions. :PIG:

In Konami's defence, a game that looks as good as PES that runs as well as it does is not poorly programmed. Just compare it with FIFA on PC, which looks awful and runs poorly.

Everyone is missing a point here .. its very natural how the players look from a distance .. upi will hardly see any difference if u dont see them with a microscope .. come on you dont need to dig soil and fetch dirt.. and on PC there are many LOD changer which can fix it but its all is done to make the performance better .. i would say its great programming which allowes it to run on even on midrange PC ..

You are missing the point; people don't upgrade their PCs to beastly standards so they can have inferior or mid-range PC LOD. They need to offer better graphical customization other than low, medium and high. I haven't seen such archaic graphical settings in a LONG time. Look at any modern PC game's graphical settings.

Also the players do not look proper from far mate, you cannot even see things like untucked shirts from afar.

@wowlman, yes the graphics are good but they have many progamming defeciencies in their collision detections, animations implementation, AI , referees and goalies etc etc and it's taken them 3 years to arrive at acceptable next-gen graphics or even solving online net code. No wonder they still have LOD issues 3 years running now.

WTF Thats how players look from a distance. Why would you want to be able to see more detail that would be un realistic unless you had telescope eyes . Also it would make the game slower. PES has always been about the playabilty but this time theyve made a MASSIVE improvement on the graphics, the LOD really isnt and issue unless you dont actually play the game and you just watch it.

Highest settings is capped to 1280 x 720. The game will look a hell of a lot better at say, my native rez of 1680 x 1050. The demo sure did.
