pes2008 ps3 patch prob

i bought pes2008 on ps3 recently....and i read there should be patch to update....but i signed in to the internet on the ps3, load the game up and no patch is being downloaded...went into Network mode and no patch either..
whats happening?
 
you'll probsbly bought the u.s version. this version is already "fixed" and therefore there is no need for a patch.
 
do anyone has a update file for north america... pleas help me up. i been playing this pes2008 for ps3 since it came out but now i just got bored those original boots are ugly as hell moreover i want to play with the premier league teams and the bundesliga so PLEAS HELP ME UP.
