PES 5: Super cancel problem after purchasing new keyboard

Hi guys!

I have been playing PES 5 for more than a year now, and use the super cancel feature extensively. Practically with every pass. However, after making the switch to a new keyboard, I cannot seem to make the feature work. I press and hold the C and E (R1 and R2) buttons simultaneously, but most of the time nothing happens. Alternatively, the player will take off on a dead run in the direction he faced when the buttons were first pressed. In short, the super cancel feature rarely works now, and when it works, it does not give me direct control of the player's movements, it spins him even further out of control. To verify the problem, I tried doing the training exercise concentrating on the super cancel. That confirmed that I was not able to make the super cancel work, even though it is a feature that I have automatized after more than a year of playing. There should be nothing wrong with the c-button itself, as you can see, my c's are looking pretty fine. Any idea what could be causing this? I am pretty certain that my motor skills have not deteriorated to the point where I am unable to push two buttons at the same time. ;) Any help is appreciated!

It will be the amount of simultaneous key presses that the keyboard allows, you most likely have one where the limit is 3 (which means you can only go in 4 directions with super cancel - up, down left and right because going diagonally would mean another button pressed) which is only what is needed if you don't do gaming because maximum amount of sumultaneous key presses would be 3 (alt+ctrl+del) when not in a game. I don't think there is a solution other than to get a controller, or get a new keyboard which allows more simultaneous key presses.

Sorry, but I don't think there is any other solution :(.

Thanks for clearing that up, it is much appreciated. I had no idea that there actually were such limitations on keyboards. I will try to exchange it for another. Thank you very much indeed!

When acquiring a keyboard, how does one know how many simultaneous key presses are allowed?

PES Keyboard problem

Hy!

I have Logitech's G11 keyboard. And my problem is, that i can't press 4 buttons simultaneously in this game.
So do you know some good keyboard, that has these G1, G2 functions and that you can press at least 4 buttons simultaneously?

Thank you!

Try it in a store if you can. Keyboards should beep when they reach their key press limit.

Hm.. this keyboard doesn't beep :S
I can't try it in a store. I think that i am going to buy it over the internet.

Any more suggestions?

thanks

I had the same issue when I bought a microsoft natural keyboard, but fortunately not all buttons were affect so I remapped all keys one row down ( so instead of wasd I use szxc )
You could try that, or alternatively when buying a new keyboard look for something like anti-ghosting or where they advertise it's enhanced for multiple key presses ( like the Saitek Cyborg )

Thank you for this option. I will search for AntiGhosting now.
But Saitek Cyborg doesn't have this AG option or does it?

Ok i bought Razer Tarantula. It cost me 82€ and i must say just PERFECT. AntiGhosting function solved my problem.
