PES 2021 Tactics Discussion & Real Teams Thread

Hi everyone.

With the EUROS starting next week, i will provide updates for that and the Copa America. While Treejah is my primary focus among other life things, I love this and need to get my ass back into real football after putting my focus on my career heavily last 2 years or so.

i will release stuff next weekend. This weekend i have to achieve a possible miracle to promote a few shirts i have coming. I have a problem with putting myself under too much pressure sometimes.
 
Ok so my 3D shirt miracles are just about finished.

Will base these from the latest efootball universe EUROS download, as I've been so busy finalizing the release of the EUROS E4Y shirts I have no idea what patch updates are available.

I assume FL24 has one but not even checked.

In terms of how teams have shaped up, I dunno about you all but that last war of attrition game between France and Holland had draw written all over it as soon as I saw France's midfield.

That midfield sums up one thing i really don't like about where modern football is going.

Ok, so for the upcoming EURO 2024 & Copa America pack.

- Defence strategies for all teams.

- 1099 - Canada will be made with a surrogate team for PES Universe option file with it fully tested in FL24.

I will update all the tactics stuff I've done over the last few years on my blog and finally start the basis for a tactics library and see what time i can put in to put any content in the next 2 months or so with all the tactics done over the years.

This will go in conjunction with my Every 4 Years game update in which we will have tactics done for not just all previous world cups but euros too. this will take a long time but it hope you all enjoy the journey back in time to make them all. :LOL: .

This explains all these shirts available to buy now are modern all star nation shirts I will have in E4Y update. I love doing all this stuff and all these planned patchwork will be 100% free forever. I'd much rather you buy my merchandise and enjoy wearing them than pay for copyrighted work we doing out of love. More importantly as you see with all the new products I have its taken a lot to get to this stage so I've been very distant from all these incredible patches over the last 3 years or so.

Lastly for ideas with content, I have no idea what's happening with eh.. efootball but I'd want to make a few videos almost closing the book on some key tactical things regarding PES 2021 I feel everyone must know.

- The attacking midfielder positioning bug.

This is why you will see AM turn into SS so much in many of the formations as they drop back too much off the ball if made into AM's

- Defensive line Height 5-10 Offensive, 0-5 Defensive Balance 7 the war against Deep Defensive Line set as default.

This stop a game breaking bug where you take the lead vs a team with too deep a defensive to press you which enables you to relax, play the ball around your defensive line in a farcical match and win 1-0. There no realism in this whatsoever. Every single team in world football has a defence and attack setup. Every team pushes their backline forward if they need a goal as standard. Literally schoolboy stuff.

'Deep Defensive Line' should always be a situation setting used on the fly as the sliders themselves and you formation setup in defence and midfield should give you this automatically if done correctly.
 
Have to say that winning goal for Spain was a fantastic team goal. England played well, but as usual so near but yet so far.

Update coming tonight as we switch on for the Copa America final. Sorry I didn't get this all out last week, i had some family events get in the way along with general fatigue with previous workload, i will be on holiday over early August so until then i will release all the stuff I've been working on then come with new things around September.

Thanks again, I apologize its taken so long. I really cant wait for my holiday in 2 weeks, I need it. Just to finish this I put 2 hours in sorting everything out. Again it why I refuse to use patreon because if I miss my own deadlines I'm not messing with peoples money.

Focus now will be E4Y classic tactics for previous tournaments as I have no idea whats happening for efootball2025 if its worth it doing all the new season tactics although barry from EFUNI seems convinced edit mode and master league will arrive, would make sense since there nothing lets they can do with it online which is clearly successful but so stale.

So can anyone confirm if these are Argentina's tactics? Because I'm not sure if I imported them right..

Yes 100%. Just 1 ID change needed

import 'Honduras_PESTACTICS' over to Canada. So i think Honduras is 43 and Canada is 1099. It should look similar to this:

1099, 43-HONDURAS.PESTACTICS.


I will do this perfectly when i get home later today.

The tactics messed up with line up there are some players didnt show as their original position, so yeah i think i should wait for your FL24 ver once you done instead

Hopefully you could fix the lineup for FL24 , since the update they hadnt done too much on the tactics and the lineup, there are lots of lineup that probably from the 1.00 ver and they didnt even touch it, they would focus on transfers so it's really bored to play with static lineup

Check the fluid formations in offence and defence.

Argentina played the same 433/442 hybrid in all games maybe bar that Peru game where they rested players.

It's built for Messi so he has a free role SS/RWF in attack then he literally does nothing 80% of the time off the ball, the other striker presses then Di Maria usually drops back to make a 4 man midfield off the ball after the 1st phase of press.

Messi doing nothing off the ball is a strategy, I'm conviced he's mildly austistic, its well known he watched the opposition off the ball then finds spaces for him to pick the ball up and exploit. Although i cant lie the great man is getting on a bit and Argetina jave carried him at times.

I wouldn't worry too much about the starting lineup if your playing in a tournament, as long as you put the right players there, they have the strategy values where they need to be you should be fine. Will still update later :)

There's no fluid formation so I did something wrong apparently. And that's strange because I did exactly what thetruebits showed in his tutorial video
