If you're comparing PES pages, regardless if patch or not, I can also show you the following PES 2021 PC related page, which is just of a country with 50k members.

I hear you Dragovic and I also enjoy PES 2021 (with the 2006 downgrade patch)!

But those large regional Facebook groups you're mentioning now, like "eFootball 2021 Indonesia" are pages that people joined years ago when the game first came out.
They have no engagement and most of those people moved on to groups like "eFootball Indonesia" with 125K members

The pages I mention (FL26, PES Infinity) are active patch communities that people genuinely follow and engage with. One is run by the patch team, the other is a community group, but in both cases that's where the discussion and interaction around the content happens.
Right now PES6 patch communities are still getting engagement levels (800+ likes per post) close to the official Konami eFootball page 1.7K+ likes) while PES 2021 patches like Football Life get 67 likes (on a pinned post) or lower

Outside of the scripting community here on EvoWeb, I think the backlash Konami would face if they shut down PES 2021 for casual Steam players would be relatively minimal.
Especially if PES6 develops a stronger scripting scene in the future, potentially with an RLBot-style AI bot toolkit or similar systems supporting it. Even now though, its not going to create a backlash for Konami.
