PES 2020 would be the same Track as 2015,2016,2017,2018,2019 slighty impovements but gameplaywise far away from how a game must be in 2019...

wiithout big changes, this game will not really improved... Unreal maybe 2021... !
 
People are assuming the new PES is going to be developed under the Unreal Engine, like it's a fact.
I'm not so sure about that. I mean, I would love it if it turns out to be true indeed. But, let me be sceptical here.
 
This game needs individuality rethinked, both on how single players are portrayed and as teams playstyle level; a plausible way to challenge the player instead of the unrealistic, cheap crap we have now and variety in more fundamentals, like shooting, passing and so on.

Change engine will surely be a great milestone, but I can't be hyped in the least if there is no sign of an at least partial switch of focus on this stuff from them. They could have Nasa build the next engine but if they'll still use it to create the meta dependent, bland and boring pvp game this game has been in the recent past it's all useless in my eyes.
 
Well...Konami will squeeze and "Milk" the Fox as long as they have the opportunity, or in other words, until the new consoles come out. GOOGLE with Stadia whether deliberately or not, spoil hardware for next-generation consoles. custom AMD chip with 16 GB of GDDR5 and nearly 11 teraflops of graphics power, which is double what XBOX One X has.

There is big chance that Unreal PES game to be exclusive for EPIC GAMES or to be the booth platforms, but EPIC has way better financial terms for developers using UNREAL.

There's too much to do for Konami to make this a good single player experience and too little incentive for them so it. Look at pes 19,grest after first patch with good number of fouls, randomness, stamina system that worked etc. All of it patched out gradually to appease the online crowd. This will be a rinse and repeat job of that.

ML doesn't need "tweaking" it needs a revival and total overhaul. This will never happen. I could list all the things missing or wrong but can't be arsed. Just make it like pes 10 which had a great, awesome master league that has never been equalled (not by EA not by Konami) ever since.

Then we have gameplay which is SORELY lacking in variety. It gets so stale so quickly, fifa is world's better but alas I hate the ball physics on that one and it has no fouls. If EA fixes that it'll be all over.

Next to this match day atmosphere is non existent and contributes to the samey feeling of the game. You've seen it all after 10 matches really. Exaggeratioj but you get the point.

If even ONE of the three points above is improved significantly I would be shocked.

:D Sorry about cancer.

Google Stadia will be fine. Most of the feedback is positive. I use a lot free Parsec personal cloud gaming and works fine, most of the time. Stadia will be a way better. PS5 and XboxTWO2XW321SJA will have similar cloud gaming future;).
It's almost confirmed that Xbox will have next-gen cheap cloud only gaming console.

If they follow all this cloud gaming or similar technology with so massive multilayer improvements will be crucial and for a sports game, like they give NBA 2k for example.

Playing next-gen PES everywhere and anytime with anyone sounds great, just must be way cheaper than console version because you...can't resell it.
I'm thing that will be subscription like Netflix. 10 $ per month.

Stadia is nothing but a gimmick service for casuals. Latency, no mods, ultimate form of drm, totally not another data farming scheme; just great. But above all I think the worst offense is comparing gaming to Netflix. All things that average Joe's don't care about. But hey, I'm stupid for not agreeing with the almighty and all-knowing Google.

These game streaming services have been around for 10 years or so... Remember OnLive?...

IMO it's not worth getting hyped up about, especially in the UK with our shite/expensive broadband. I don't expect the infrastructure to be in place within the next generation to deliver this kind of thing to give genuine competition to PC/consoles.

Regardless of how much bullshit or truth is in this 3 year plan for Master League, they officially announced it so they have to give us something.
Pes19 was first year, it will be completed by Pes21.
I know that in the past Adam mentioned 3 year plan couple of times and people were going mad. But I was going through his twitter and the depths of internet and he never really said that the 3 year plan has started. They might have had an idea for this project, but put it away since it required a lot of work and online casino was a priority.
Only recently he told the public, that Pes19 was the first of 3 year cycle. So it is in motion.
Working on Master League will also mean theyll have to test AI and play a lot against COM team, while developing the game.
So Pes20 and Pes21 will probably be the last two, where there is some hope, as theyll have to put some effort into offline.
Next time they decide to revive offline we all probably be dead.. :LOL:
 
I dont buy it at all, PES 2017 base AI is better than 2019. So is the 3 year plan going to be get it back to 2017 levels by 2021. We have 1 year plan, 2 year plans up to 5 year plans in manufactering contruction and i could tell you now what is coming up year 1,2 3 etc are Konami saying that can't tell us what is coming next year because if they can't theres no plan

I don't put any stock in that 3 year ML bullcrap. I swear they mentioned it for pes 17 or thereabouts as well which would make pes 19 the final year of this 3 year nonsense. Its absolute horse shit, all of it. If even one hour is spent on improving master league I would be utterly shocked.
 
i'm a single player and would love a good ML and great edit mode, but i only spend £30 on the game. I don't spend anything else. Unfortunately I / We are a dying breed and the game will not be worth making for our market (FIFA will always do much better in the market purely because of the licences). The game will be made first and foremost for the fools who part with 100's/1000's of £ every year to play MyClub.
 
Speaking of gameplay the 3 year cycle could be 15-16–17, 18&19 seemed to have a slightly different approach,cannot tell for sure in which cycle we are now.

In terms of ML , if the 3y cycle is true, it is 16-17-18 for sure cause the menus and functions are almost the same with tweaks. 2019 on the the other side doesn’t not have the revolutionary changes to assign it in a different cycle, everything seems pretty the same.
For example the 11-12-13 ML cycle has obvious differences with the 2014 ML, which was an empty shell. But in the 16~19 period I can’t spot any differences that can define 3-years cycles. UI is the same, negotiations & transfers are the same with some tweaks here and there,training also similar. If only by 3 years they include 4 game versions , cause 2019-2016= 3 years but 4 game versions. :)

Thats my question. I dont think they ever did anything. I think they (not developers, but PR people) knew people are screaming for ML revival, but I dont think they ever did anything.
So if there was any 3 year plan - it was just a project on paper. Pes19 is the first where Adam admitted this version has started 3 year plan. So if there is any truth in it - we should be seeing improvements in 20/21.
 
The only cycle i see is the usual cycle of false promises with press release/announcement, followed by hopes based on lies and things removed accurately kept hidden until the very last weeks, acknowledgement that the game is still not good enough when it releases and then the next year here we go again.

I'm not even kidding or exaggerating things, this cycle is the same since years.

Hope based on what? Adam's hints? Sorry, but i don't believe him anymore. Besides his position relative to the actual game development is mostly useless. He can push the team to improve modes or gameplay as much as he wants but it doesn't depend on him, in the end if there is no real will to improve and invest in Pes, that will never happen.

Lately i read that Konami UK hired a new guy, cool, but the guy they hired is an e-sports guy. That is the future Pes we are going to see, e-sports and Myclub. Both don't interest me in the slightest.

So, again, sorry to be so pessimistic but i see no signs whatsoever next year there will be a substantial improvement over Pes 2019, both in gameplay and modes.
