;) have fun everyone!! really! i mean it!! enjoy!!

On this like fly on shit. Thankfully, I already had a NZ account from the last time I downloaded a PES demo early.

the first negative i can see is Liverpool vs Dortmund is NOT a good advert for the game thanks to the way the teams are set up. Matt's Forwards not tracking back issue + Dortmunds deep defensive line mean midfield battle is crap, but we knew that anyway i guess.

So far my experience:

- Controlling players feels so good in this game. It's actually spot on.
- Superstar is easy. I won the first two, it still feels good but the positioning of players needs a lot of work, cuz I see players left alone in the wings.
-Graghically it's really good but the brightness could have potentially made me stop playing, it could blind someone honestly. So I changed the default to lower brightness in-game. Now it's good.
-Everything seems really nice and smooth not much problems can be found but shooting is a bit weird.

Player models take some getting used too and on my tv it's hard to look at due to previous settings so will need to adjust...i thought I was going to be blown away visually but I'm not in all honesty ..more time on it later

Awesome game, really. Feels great. Love animations! Gameplay is simply amaizing and shooting and pass response is fantastic. Great game. Love it.

played around 12 matches now

Passing, movement everything like pace feels so so good

Game flows like a wet dream

Ball feels heavy and realistic

Player models and faces wow...so good

But but but...

Shooting is still overpowered and automated

Scoring feels soulless, I get no joy at all from scoring!!!!

this is on super star.

Another worry: I play a lot as Dortmund and Inter sometimes Barcelona could not get near me. Winning games 2-0 and 3-0 regularly although this will change in Master League I am sure

pitch textures still look very poor compared to other game

I am a little disappointed - the shooting is so predictable and straight still

I found shooting very different from 17,I'm on manual btw

Here are my somewhat vague and general opinions after playing a handful of matches:

- Pace of the match and the way the players move looks/feels excellent. More responsive than last year.

- While player switching can be a tad wonky for me, players are much more alert to loose balls and 50/50 tussles. Less of the ol' "I'm going to bounce off you like a trampoline and not even attempt to go for the ball" that was found in previous iterations. Granted, still early, so I'll have to see if that's actually the case. Urgency definitely seems improved.

- Passing looks less awkward this year and feels a lot more natural when coming off the player's foot.

- Looks and moves brilliantly.

- Refs seem adequate so far? Hard to tell as I need more matches under my belt.

Unfortunately, much like PES 2017, I absolutely detest the shooting. It seems entirely one-note. I've tried on Manual and Basic thus far, but I'll give Advanced a go at some point. I scored my first goal with what was in theory, a fantastic bit of play with Dembele. Despite all of that, I felt almost nothing when the ball hit the back of the net. I felt empty. The lack of satisfaction (for me) when it comes to scoring goals in PES has been major bug-bear of mine over the past few years. As it stands, I can't see myself playing this game for hundreds, or even dozens of hours due to the shooting. As I expected months ago.

It's a shame, as everything apart from that appears (we'll see in a few months time) to be top notch. If anything, PES doesn't feel cheap or bootleg anymore, it feels like a top tier football game. They've clearly put in a lot of work.

Pick the option to pre-order if you searched. Then on the game page click down a couple of times and it should be there, Rom.

In previous PES since the new engine I had the feeling that everything happening in the game was meant to end in a certain way. Every ball was so precise like it couldn't be deflected, couldn't miss. This is the first time I don't have this feeling*. It feels more free, more real, more ALIVE.

*except for shooting xD

If IF IF IF Konami ever address the shooting we will have a special game

But until then...no I can't keep scoring the same kinds of goals where it feels like the CPU has done most of the work for me

This is with advanced shooting btw

Not going to manual because why should I? No one else online will and the CPU in Master League won't use Manual

this just proves to me that unfortunately Adam and konami team are more than happy with these arcade style thunder shots and soulless goals

Shame.
