If you're referring to the "penalty" video it's just stupid,all I see is someone falling on his ass,if something needs proving from a 17 video about penalties,we already know the lack of them.
And if it's needed to prove how bad the pens were in 17, I would actually prefer a zoomed in video were you can see the "foul" happening
And yeah mopping up is needed,and moving on as well

that's were you lost me mate. to sound reasonable you really shouldn't have said that about the game without any proof. not even the demo is out yet. the beta didn't have issues in that department so what is the reason for such a statement.
 
Seriously!! i have to ask this. how come some get away with constantly posting the same thing over and over, without any proof and it ain't considered trolling???

Curdstars facts are just opinions and statistics done by him alone.
mop up? because somebody says the shooting is underdeveloped.
anti pes people? Not true.
You and Curdstar are happy with the new PES and disagree with us. So what? It's just opinions really.
Some want simulation some want arcade. Some defend Adam some don't.

Here's all i know, Winning Eleven 9 LE with 2015/16 patch.

Has much better shooting, ball physics, crossing, foul system, AI defending, and no scripting.

They say PES 18 is big on game-play? Better job on faces than game-play IMO.

Does that Luca Moura (the 2nd one in that video) seems realistic to you? Does it look like the shooting animation and ball trajectory are coherent? I had to stopped watching after that. I don't think you want to troll, but you sure are doing a hell of a job to dissimulate it.

And at 1:22 (the second Free Kick goal by Ibra), wouldn't you be crying for a whole month if a goalkeeper reacted like that in PES 2017-2018? Ball goes in, just a few inches away from his left arm had he lift it. But he did not.

But how can you call that "better shooting" when the player's leg and foot hit the ball in a way that's not physically possible IRL and the ball gets ejected in a perfect straight line into the bottom right corner of the goal?.

If you had seen something like that in any of the Gamescom videos, you would alert all media.
All I'm saying is, don't tilt the scales. Be fair. Judge both by the same standards.

animations linking to shot is what your referring to here but i'm talking about the shooting system.
Stance, ability, technique, angle, statistics matter.

If you watch adams gamescom interview (If you can stomach the annoying host who tries hard to be funny) he said they decided not to add more error to the ball because it was less 'fun' unfortunately the instant gratification crowd outnumber those of us who want it to rely more on our actual gaming skill level player stats and button timing/input

Its why I never use big teams in master league I try build an average team full of 75 or lower ovr with 1 or maybe 2 80 plus superstars.Controlling a team full of 81+ rated players feels too quick and automated, taking my serie b team all the way to the Europa league semis only to lose to wolfburg in ET like i did on 2017 gives me more satisfaction than winning 5 nil online spamming goals with messi

would it be too hard for them to have a difficulty setting labeled as simulation, where they could add more error in that setting, first time touches etc, that way everyone is happy to an extent. To be honest i dont even think we are the minority anymore, we dont exist, pointless having these forums anymore.

on the game website its mentioned the stadiums present in the game, 37 stadiums btw licensed and generic stadiums, at least i won. t be having to assign the san siro stadium to real madrid xdxdxdxd

So if you were to watch Germany beat France 1-0 in a real match, for example, the goal that was scored, the scoreline, are just opinions?

Not good enough. Not good enough, at all.

You've been asked to provide evidence backing up your claims against PES 2018. You post a video from another game entirely. That is not evidence that can back up your claims against PES 2018 in any way whatsoever.

You are in the public gallery at court and watch the prosecution provide evidence as to why the defendant committed a murder.

The defence then make their case for the defence by showing video evidence that proves the defendant didn't do it. The thing is, they show evidence from a completely different murder trial involving a completely different defendant.

Who has the more relevant evidence for the trial at hand?
 
Seems like most here are not excited about the new pes and feel let down of what they have seen on videos.

A question. All of you that dont feel 2018 will be any good. Did u like pes 2017?

I understand maybe if u dont like pes 2017 u might not be very excited about 2018 either. BUT, i really liked pes 2017 even with some negatives, shot variation for example, which is a big negative about 2017. But i dont feel its a game breaker. I still had amazing games. I played the beta and i liked the feeling of it. I had a feeling after playing it that most flaws will be fixed for the full game, except maybe the shooting....still. Maybe they get it better for the full game but i felt shooting was too far from what i hope for, that they wont succeed making that big of a change in that aspect.

But i cant wait for the demo and the full game. Im very excited and really feel its goin in right direction. I loved the ps2 pes...and was sooo disappointed for many years...but 2017 made it for me and i hope and believe 2018 will not let me down.

i enjoyed pes 17 alot, but as for pes 18 im not excited cos of lack of modes and depth especially in ML, which has disappointed me alot, feels like to me they dont care about the fans that supported them through the shit times, which majority love ML, and it took em a whole year just to add team objectives, mind you that shouldv already been in there 3-5 yrs ago, to me it seems konami are doing an old EA, as far as im concerned we dont have a voice in here at all.

If the voices in here are saying things like, for example, that first-time shots are easy and super-accurate and have a high success rate in spite of current analysis and research suggesting otherwise, do you really think we should be getting listened to?

Don't worry it only seems like that because people are trying to do this and give this impression. Not sure what the gain from it but it's there. I honestly believe this is their end game.

Brace yourself we are going to get a post about how people are fans since the ISS days soon and are only regurgitating the same argument to see an improvement for the bettermwnt of us all.

i agree with you mate, cant judge off the videos for those types of problems, game needs to be played as well as to what type of shooting you have it set to, im gonna be experimenting with basic,advanced and manual and see what differences there are with the first time shots as well as the variability, manual shooting in pes17 i saw more variability than basic, not significant but i do notice it, could be emphasized even more in 18, will see next week.

ok found a much easier way with no PC version needed ..go in to your editmode on PS4 select a european team who you want to assign a south american stadium to change their home stadium to KONAMI stadium and edit the stadium name,net shape net pattern and net colour to what ever you want then export that team to USB note that stadium perimeter and seat colour cannot be edited

i agree with you mate, it will make a massive difference, but something like this couldv been in the game 3-5 yrs ago, im no programmer but i dont think it takes a whole year to implement something like this, i wouldve been more than happy if they added situations where you struggle to keep your star players, like the neymar, coutinho, keita, van dijk situations, its also extremely disappointing when you see your players saying this is the best club to be in and your in the bottom half of the table and your a team like napoli for example.
 
Saw the tweet about stadium list being faulty on Xbox one from Adam,and he told the team to fix it on official.
Still no update on it,and seeing reactions on social media,it should really be sorted asap.
Ppl( xb1 players) are pretty pissed off,and it's starting to be borderline disrespectful.
I know gamescon etc takes up alot if time.
But he's not running this ship alone,right?
 
Yep. Prepare for tons of videos in which a few from here will post matches when all they do is try long rangers in a bid to prove something and will then have the cheek to question how literally anyone else plays the game.

There are so many things they could have done. Little bits of improvements that would have greatly improved all the single player modes.

I am 99.9% sure that of you sat face to face with the powers that be at Konami they would tell you that according to feedback the single player experience is not the biggest group on PES and that online play (myclub) takes preference because of time constraints in annual game releases and budget / manpower constraints which imo is bullshit.

Chances are people are giving up on those modes because it's not getting the necessary love and attention.

Gaming in this era sucks ass.
