I think konami said that they will have realistic match time this year, or is it only for master league?

Only one game into my ML,but according to my schedule,it's away-away-home-home,which sux,thought they fix that with "realistic kick off times"?
 
Right. Spent weeks looking forwards to this and I have installed the PES Universe option file for authentic kits etc. Tried playing an exhibition match twice and it has crashed both times. I am not happy.

Why is this happening?

For each of my earlier option files for PES5 I set a release date. Each time it went over by about 3 months or probably longer. In fact my last one was incomplete. It may have seemed like I lied but my honest intentions were to get it done. Admittedly i didn't charge for my option file like pesuniverse but could it be they underestimated how long it would take. ;)

My first game today in the World Cup was daylight (check out the England v Scotland scramble earlier) haven't played any games since though.

Me a few others bombarded Adam and a couple of others asking for the ability to select time of day in the master league and cup games and he said that instead they added realistic times.

The fact you cannot select stadium and time of day always puts me off playing a world cup as you know most games will be played in an awful looking stadium with poor turf at night.

I am pretty angry that this years turf is a step backwards. What matters far more than players faces and pictures outside the nou camp, is the turf. It is the main thing people look at when they play the game and the lighting konami uses at night always makes the turf look washed out

You will wait untill it drops in price ?? It is already pretty damn cheap...

And btw. I have played almost 1200 online matches in PES 2015 and 2016 online and 97% no lag. I play with a ethernet cable like you always should. Stop complaining...online works fine

Who in their right mind makes that decision knowing it annoys fans..allocate realistic times by all means but FFS unlock the options for people

they said they'd have a full file ready for release day, now they've released this incomplete "Beta" file and still charged people 10 pounds, if youre going to charge people money for any product you better be damn sure your product is what you promised it should be

I couldnt agree more with the online. Its all down to personal connection. If your still using under 8mbps you will struggle. Even 8mbps is cutting it fine.
 
I never play online so cant comment, but do the servers improve after the initial rush on release?

Holding firm on an option file atm, I wont settle down properly in ML without things being sorted.
 
The eagle has landed . .. . . .had two games this evening on top player exhibition default speed. . . . .game speed definitely slower . .plays beautifully . . although I do feel that manual passing and shooting is more 'assisted ' than the demo .. ... Played the first match as Fiorentina v lazio a 0-0 draw and lazio had a player sent sent off for a filthy tackle from behind. . . which was great to see .. . ..second match I was Italy v England and won comfortably 3-0 . .Italy seemed superior all over the pitch. .. . .got the feeling when playing that most things are possible and you will be rewarded for a bit of flair and ingenuity which is a good thing. Just can't suss out the option files . .sounds confusing how to install them.

Since I felt Top Player is too easy on master league, I tried a few exhibition games. On Superstar, I won 3-0 and didn't break a sweat. On Professional, I think it finished 0-0 but was completely onesided.

What I've noticed so far that was definitely not present in the demo is that the full game IS less responsive which is quite upsetting. The CPU attacking AI has gone to shits for some reason and they can barely get an attack going. I'm not too pleased about the tempo of the game either. I remember a ton of games I played on the demo that were right down the middle, but now the CPU barely get a shot on goal.

I thought they said the full game wouldn't be that different from the demo this year? I'm confused and a tad bit negative right now, cause the demo played so much smoother and I had such a better time against the AI when it comes to competitive matches.
 
No way is the game the same on the PS4 and PC, have both and they seem quite different to me. Also anyone else feel that the full version is different from the demo?

Totally agree, unfortunately. It's way too easy and the AI makes too many mistakes and hardly get any shots on goal. I play full manual and didn't concede any goal when winning the Champions League with FC Basel on Superstar level. What the h*ll happened? Had so many great games against the CUP on the demo, but haven't had a single fun game in the full version. I'd love if it was as competitive as FIFA on the hardest level - but it just isn't fun because of this.

Played Barcelona in the semifinal and Messi hardly touched the ball. In the demo Messi/Neymar/Suarez were lethal when playing the CPU.

Have you played ML on 17?
My first game was vs Juve,on top player,usually play SS, and they handed it to me properly.
Lost 2-0.
I edited most of the teams tactics before,which I always do.
Setting them to frontline pressure,the tough teams gets very tough to break down
 
Just had a great game, Champions league exhibition, Man City vs Ajax, full manual on superstar.

Took the lead with a nice goal by Nolito...look for his movement to get to the nearpost...


They equalised almost instantly with a decent goal, then I scored this nice chip with Aguero to win it, especially liked the through ball from Sane...

 
I mean to be fair, I find it more difficult to create clear cut chances compared to the demo, so for me the CPU defending is what it needs to be, -ish.

It's the CPU attacking that angers me at the moment, they take way too much time before trying to mount an attack which leads to me easily retaining control of the ball after losing it. It's like they take one or two strides too many with the ball in the attacking build-up phase, which just makes it too easy for me to steal it from them.

A patch can surely fix this since it was near perfect on the demo.

I also found manual to be more assisted than the demo or I got better at it o am not sure lol.

No way am I going to try the demo out again now.

I agree with you, the PC version feels more like 2016 I think where as the PS4 version is a huge leap ahead of 2016.
It could be a placebo due to graphics maybe, I will see if I still feel the same way after a decent patch is released for PC
