PES 2016 News & Discussion Thread

Will we really have to wait one week to see a video from the new code ? Seriously ?

Its better waiting for the demo then since its going to be released next week as well, unless you only play on PC.;)

Tomorrow press will release several Gamescom code videos, then there will be public gamescom code videos.

Finally, IGN UK on Friday will show Pes 2016 Gamescom code direct capture gameplay like they did at E3.

Thats great.

I was suspecting this. Videos of the new code only being released on the same week of the demo didnt make sense at all.
Anyway, I hope Konami is smart enough to release a trailler made by Wedeens to announce and advert the demo.

Fouls are still a bit off. Seeing multiple times where a ref has given advantage, only for a player to lose the ball directly after and the ref not awarding a free kick

PLAYERS ARE ALSO CUTTING IN FROM THE WINGS NEAR THE BOX AFTER PASSING THE BALL. If someone can show me that happening in either FIFA or Pes of last year I will give you a high five

That Brazil video looked quite poor! Keepers where shocking.

it looked like PES 2015.2 as yari said

Not worried at all though as it was probably the first beta build they created in the first few months this year.

I'm more worried about having to buy a PS4 for next Thursday, money is tight :( Sony/Konami hate us PC players :(

Keepers animations are horrible. Wich keeper on Earth would hold up his two arm to catch a frigging strong, well placed freekick for example? And indeed catch it with ease, ball glued to his hands!!!!! Who approved this? Not talking about rebound goals and slow-mo flying animations. Keepers now < Keepers 10 10-20yrs before in PES

most of the teams wont cross in PES 2015 :CONFUSE:

I understand that, but that's not what I'm talking about. Look at Neymar at 23:15. He cuts in AFTER passing the ball. Players only ever make runs forward in soccer video games, never horizontally and hardly diagonally ESPECIALLY near the box. This should make the Messi's Harzard's Neymar's Robben's etc. more dangerous

for me PES 2015 is an ok game. I play it and enjoy it most of the time. Started playing on 0 passing and once I got used of it I prefer it even more. Looking at the vids for Pes 2016 It seems like it will do again.

My biggest issue for the past 5 or 6 games and my hope it gets solved in Pes 2016 is the AI preference for AI. I think it gets worse every year. The ball sticks to them like glue even the poor weak dribblers yet when I have a good dribbler with good balance even a crap weak midfielder can take it off them with ease. free kicks and penalties are also biased to the AI and the advantage rule. If I have a player on a yellow I might aswell sub him because even if the bumps into a player he's off yet I have been taken out by the AI and its play on. The amount of times I have been taken down in the box and no penalty. I just hope its more balanced with more AI fouls and injuries.

There are positives and negatives from the vids and I think you have to expect it's not the finished product but also there's stuff that prob wont be fixed. Konami will do there own thing right or wrong. Also every company has a certain level of skill and quite possibly there isn't any talented enough people there or resources given to the talented people to make a great game. There might be very talented people there with brilliant ideas but due to the working conditions and paranoia between the staff and management might not get a chance to shine. Remember its a weird place to work.

awwwh i see now what you mean. well off the ball support/movement is in the first trailer aswell :) glad you spotted it and it works well already in E3 code

I Had bad impressions from this video.

The match seems too fast, passing looks too fast and accurate, through pass seems to be a nightmare To defend against, too arcadey.

Even the first touch seems not matter much, players can instantly controll the ball even when the pass is very fast (strong).

The ball physics look better tho, oh and the net physics as well...

hard to say if thats how the AI will constantly play, cos you need to incorporate team tactics, seems like its set up as a defensive possession type tactic for france, i wouldnt look too deep into it,

I hope you're right.

Another thing I'd like to point out is the total lack of compactness on defence from both teams. The defence line seems to be too large, looks weird.

The Milan vs Juve video specially. Juve plays with two lines of midfielders and defenders and theres a wierd space between the two lines and also between players. Thats worrying.
