Depends on EA really. If they bring NBA Live here, we might see FIFA on Ignite earlier.
Seriously though, money talks.

november no patch? 2 months? THANKS!!!
If they don't release a proper Next-Gen version next year, then why bother with PC users at all?History repeats itself.
Fifa 14 is LAST GEN on PC. Just like was FIFA 07 (on Xbox 360 it was just like FIFA 14 is on Xbone/PS4). Soo if we judge by last EA's track things will go like:
Last Gen:
FIFA 07/FIFA 14
FIFA 08/FIFA 15
FIFA 09/FIFA 16
FIFA 10/FIFA 17
SemiNext Gen:
FIFA 11(aka FIFA 10.5)/FIFA 18
Same as console version:
FIFA 12/FIFA 19
So in October of 2018 PC users will get the SAME version of the consoles.
The new data pack is released tomorrow guys. Those 800 faces will be fixed ... lets hope the shooting is fixed along with the keepers and responsiveness.I will be happy as long as the shootings like the pc demo

("Konami has confirmed details for its upcoming Data Pack 2 for Pro Evolution Soccer 2014. The free pack will include updated team rosters, 11 vs. 11 mode, and additional Competition Mode features.
Data Pack 2 will bring all team rosters up to date, with team changes to reflect all player transfers. Over 800 new faces will also be part of the pack, upgrading the appearance of players such as Manchester United's Da Silva twins, Boca Juniors' Riquelme, Real Madrid's Isco, and England's Jack Wilshere.
In response to feedback from the PES community, 11 vs. 11 mode will also be implemented as part of Data Pack 2. Online competitions and master league online competitions will be added to the game's Competition Mode. A Team Play lobby system will also be incorporated.
Fans can also expect changes to the chat format, and gameplay tweaks, which Konami did not specify.
The Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 Data Pack 2 will be available to download "later this month".)
Data packs can include gameplay tweaks as previous PES ones have in the past.

Hi all. So unfortunately, as I suggested yesterday about caution, it does seem the message of DP2 release was an error. Not coming today
Adam Bhatti @Adam_Bhatti 9 min
The message was a preparation which we wanted to test, and it got pushed out. We have been aiming for 15th, but waiting on platform holders
Adam Bhatti @Adam_Bhatti 7 min
I'll do my best to update you all later. For now, I'm sorry for any confusion, we'll put a msg up on Xbox/PSN to apologise for our error.

@JohnOSulli The DLC will be released in November, but we don´t know the date yet. We´ll keep you updated.
Yeah, right. Treating customers like that...
It's not you, it's not the info you posted, it's peoples' penchant around here to belittle and insult rather than engage in friendly conversation. As for dumbfounded
If that's the case why is every forum stating the pack includes tweaks to gameplay? As per Konami's statement?
Thanks AngusIt's not you, it's not the info you posted, it's peoples' penchant around here to belittle and insult rather than engage in friendly conversation.
Thanks Angus
Some people need to learn manners not feel the need to act big behind a keyboard. Though i feel that is difficult to comprehend for the aforementioned.
Anyway thanks Angus and totally agree with you
Dumbfounded.
Let me explain directly.
Data pack is dt50_00x.cpk which is supposed to be in following directory;
C:/ProgramData(hidden folder)/KONAMI/Pro Evolution Soccer 2014/download/
Official patch(v1.01, v1.02, v1.03...) is the executable(pes2014.exe).
Which do you think can include gameplay tweaks?
Actually, both data packs and executables could include gameplay tweaks. Theoretically, executable could be programmed in such fashion to load certain code snippets (AI routines, parameters, etc.) dynamically from external .cpk files.
Whether pes2014.exe is actually programmed like that or not, that's another question. Doesn't seem to be, but theoretically it's doable. Remember all those AI scripts found in dt18.cpk that, for the moment, do nothing when changed? Maybe Konami has plans to use them sometime later and will make the necessary changes in executable to enable them?
