PC PES 2014 discussion thread

There was no quality to maintain, the engine was crap, no matter what you do it still will be crap from the core, new engine new luck new possibilities.

Excuse me for the word maintain, it would refer to previous quality which is not indicating my intention :P

I mean how to expect high quality NG version if they are not producing relatively high quality CG version from the new engine. :SMUG:
 
I'm done with this game. Just played someone who used a exploit where you can beat the keeper 9/10 with a chipped shot from any distant and angle. Pathetic game breaking bug
 
Not touched the game for what must be three weeks or more. So strange this year; the game has so much potential but I'm playing it less than any PES ever. It's so unfinished to the point of being a disgrace.

That bug I mentioned is a complete shambols. Try it yourself. Fucking stupid
 
It's a glitch which was already mentioned on WENB in video section, Adam wanted as feedback.

Hopefully PES Team addresses the issues posted there.

After constantly playing the game for few hours daily since release date, you can see that gameplay is not all that great. It's not out of this world experience too.

November patch needs to fix at least 70% of game and can anyone see this coming? Add to that the fact they have to add over 800 faces (did they split the team to do AI/Gameplay changes and have someone else doing faces? If not, lets just pray).

70% ? How could you come with that number ? :CONFUSE:
 
Well, exaggerated number :P (but should have put: for me before it).

Play it without PES glasses on, approach it like normal end customer with no knowledge on previous PES games.

Do simple experiment on someone who haven't even heard of PES, but has football knowledge and plays games. Let him decide after 2-3 days whether he would buy it or not.

Then say the price. The response could be funny (in my case it was :P).

I don't want to repeat what I wrote before, but they took out things which were in the game. They always take something out and not give anything in return.

This happened since PES 6 onwards.

We must have played the same guy. It's really ridiculous. Needs to be fixed ASAP along with some other things in the game.

Btw, blocked the guy right away.

I've encountered this as well. Conceded three goals in one game by the same method - Ronaldo runs away from goal then chips backwards from the edge of the box. Goalkeeper just stands there. Carbon-copy goals.

Agree that online is unplayable right now, but remaining cautiously hopeful that such issues will be addressed in the upcoming patch.
 
Does anyone know how to bring your keeper out (triangle)without him trying to play a through ball!? Actually, is there a setting to make him come for the ball more often? The amount of times my CB has crashed into my keeper online is scary!
 
They put PC demo out now?! Almost in November? :D

Slight slip up... When I heard it was bound to be released shortly after game release (19th September!!!!).

Dear God, please help those morons in KHQ.

70% ? What a bullshit . Max 30 % they will patch stricte in gameplay and game will brillant. I think You have glasses when You play Fifa.

At least the RT shooting on manual shooting is fixed unlike in full version, so this may well be the best version when it comes to gameplay. Don't know, have to test some more to see if there are any other improvements.

I played a few games of the PES 2014 DEMO. It has improved. This code build should have been the 11 september demo.

Shooting is different, you can score from outside of the box and there seems to be no more set trajectory for the shot. I was shooting at the same distance from the goal a dozen time before. So annoying.

Player switching using LB and Analog stick is highly responsive and much improved.

Manual passing it's actual manual passing unlike the full game.

I'm still worried about the stuttering and general sluggishness that is still there, at least for me.

Also it feels way harder to win against a good team at top player.

Do you guys feel the same things I've wrote here? It's there a chance to see more improvement for the 1.02 patch?
 
I don't agree on switching part. Still not as fast and crisp as on PES 2013.

Yes, shooting from outside the box now has power. Pretty much what retail misses.

It's probably same code, PS3/X360 users got with their 2nd demo. It feels faster then retail game too.

Passing is crisp and goes exactly where you aim.

Still fouls are uncalled. This needs addressing in November patch. As game end foul less ;).

Still Goalkeepers need work, but... I feel player awareness is much better here. O_o

Shame that games are limited to 5 min halves :(.
