I find Professional level quite challenging too.

You are quoting my post, so basically, you are telling me (not suggesting or stating your opinion) that you know better what level of difficulty is harder for me in PES 2014!
Hey kid, don’t make me faceplam you…
I would be nicer if you have posted something like this:
“Dear Sir,
My honest opinion is that professional level is the hardest difficulty level for you.”
1.01 made it even worse, closer to pes13 pingpong system, anyone? where is that hell of a difficult and complex leaked demo code by now...?

I thought it would of been common knowledge by now.
It was the same in the great PES 5 where Superstar was infact easier than Professional, in previous PES games gone by its been superstar the hardest level, well is the same as top player but the CPU have an extra god mode they sometimes use really.
On Superstar, the keeper seem worse than on professional, more bugs, worse defending AI, easier to score. Superstar is a bit of a mess, things don't seemed finished. Professional is harder, well because it works.
This was seen especially in Bitter Rivals streams, and from my playing of the full game and demo.
This isn't an opinion this is my observation of what I presume most people will see. Professional was the best level in the demo too with superstar in general being broken regardless of the console.

maybe on previous pes games, not on 2014.
Superstar is easy because it isn't finished. Professional feels at a more finished state
Cool. Wonder if any yellow card can be given too?
@Matt10
You really need to glance at console thread and AA day. I’m guessing you have missed that. I’m not disrespectful, just responding in a same tone this 15 years younger then me person have addressed me.
Listen kid,
In every single PES on every platform, playing on higher difficulty level requires some additional skills and tricks. In PES 2013 changing attack and defence levels was crucial. “Just playing” with occasional formation changes was not enough on superstar.
In this PES, if you want to make GK or last line perform well, you really need to take a closer look at new commands list. And, why do you think developers of this game have added option to switch cursor to goalkeeper?
I don’t feel any problems with CPU AI either. Maybe it’s related to my PC . I can run this game without any major glitches. I’m not saying that I don’t have some problems with game’s optimization. I’m just saying that I do not feel awareness problem and that superstar I not broken for me.
In that old PES you are talking about, highest level was a freaking goal-fest if you don’t change way you play. If you know how to play and what to change, that goal-fest becomes midfield war – that’s why it was the best until recently.
I need some tactics!!!!!![]()
i'm playing with barcelona, can you tell me your tactics preset? thanks.I'm on the same boat as Jamezinho on this one. I play on professional, but I find it cool if others find superstar harder/easier. It only adds to my curiosity. Will try superstar for sure.
I'd like to add that the sliders work a lot better now. I just faced Shalke home and away, and apparently they are set to pressure like hell. Lost to them 0-1 as Barcelona (away). After that I won 3-0 (home), but I went through hell to archieve it. All this in professional. I'm a pacient and skillful builder and defender, so I was pleasantly surprised by this aggressive approach.
Really? That's just not good enough, Konami. There's been a patch, right? That says to me that the chants feature is a console exclusive.
gamingdragons
bought mine from there, sent me the code in 60 minutes
The difference SweetFX can make. Unplayable without it now, for me...

This above is default, unmodified vanilla game.

Jaysus!
Try full manual and a shitty team
it's not more challenging whatsoever, pes 2014 is really good on top player and hard even with basic-assisted cursor it needs time to adapt to it, pes 2013 is s**t compared to this.no, i don't wanna do that. i didn't do that with pes 2013, it was way more challenging game than pes 2014.
they must increase game difficulty. even pes 6 on "professional" is way more challenging than pes 2014 on "top player".
Hey guys, I hope someone can help me here. Me and my friend tried to play against each other but he keeps getting an error message saying something about NAT restriction. The funny thing is, he is able to play ranked matches but cannot join/create a lobby room.
Does anybody know the solution? Does he need to open any ports in his router? If so, which one?
EDIT; We play on PC.
In the mean time, please go through the following steps to make sure that you have everything set up to ensure that PES 2013 has the best connection to the Internet that it can.
Step 1. If you are playing on an Xbox 360 or PS3, make sure that your firmware is up to date.
Step 2. Make sure that there is nothing that could be interfering with your network. For example; P2P networks, streaming TV, Mobile Devices and Virus Protection/Firewall software. We cannot recommend the usage of W-Lan or USB wireless adaptors. If you use one of the mentioned devices in order to connect to the Internet, please switch to a wired broadband connection in order to improve the connection stability and speed.
Step 3. Check your router setup. PES 2013 needs certain ports open so that it can communicate with the Internet properly. We recommend that you change Port Settings in the PES 2013 menu to ‘Automatic’.
Step 4. If the above doesn’t work, you may need to open specific ports manually by configuring your router. The ports that need to be opened in order to properly connect PES 2013 to the Internet are -
PC:
TCP: 80, 44, 4000-4200
UDP: Auto mode: 3658, 5730-5739
PS3:
TCP: 80, 443, 5000-5200
UDP: Auto mode: 3658, 5730-5739 *default is 3658
Xbox360:
TCP: 53, 80, 3074
UDP: 53, 88, 3074
As we cannot support all specific router makes and models, we recommend that you visit www.portforward.com where you will be able to find setup advise for the router that you have. For further information concerning how to set up your router connections, please refer to the manual or contact the customer support of your network provider.
If you are playing on PC or PS3, as a confirmation of your actions, you can visit the following link and run the ports test to check all your ports can now be validated. Go on the following website http://www.konami.jp/we/online/
Sweet FX makes pes 2014 the best looking football game i have ever seen.
I appreciate that, but I don't buy video games that are broken to the point where you lose that sense of immersion due to annoying gameplay issues. I'm not saying PES is that way obviously, I just need to try the demo and see for myself first.in all seriousness buy the game and there is your demo, its very good in its current form but basically a demo with the small niggles that it has
