PC PES 2014 discussion thread

Re: PES 2014 discussion thread (NO PIRACY TALK, YOU WILL GET BANNED!)

Have they even acknowledge all the issues with the PC version and promised a patch to fix it yet?

What about the strange omission of the consoles' version ability to add your own chants to the game for many different events? I believe that wasn't in at launch - any sign of it now? Or is it a 'console exclusive'?

Apparently Bhatti has been tweeted about it (for what it's worth) but I can't confirm.

Konami won't fix the PC version, I'm sure of that. They can't even get a demo out.

Re: PES 2014 discussion thread (NO PIRACY TALK, YOU WILL GET BANNED!)

That's just Konami in general. They seem to muddle through everything they do. Very unprofessional for a company of such size, stature and resource.

Lack of professionalism ? They definitely need to hire a professional(s) to handle PR and marketing.

Expand their core development team, assign certain functions to partners, get more sponsors on board in some fashion and build up more relationships with footballing bodies.

And stick to one universal title for the planet. Winning Eleven and return to an October release.

Not to mention sticking to their vision instead of muddling over trying to please everyone.

Re: PES 2014 discussion thread (NO PIRACY TALK, YOU WILL GET BANNED!)

It's not his fault for the lack of a demo or a steam release, it is however his fault to guarantee things that didn't happen. He does this constantly.

It could be a muddle chain of command. However his reaction to some pretty balanced and well made points regarding the game can be over the top and distinctly unprofessional.

If he cannot do this by himself they need to beef up customer relations. In general Konami need to up their investment in this game.

I do despair at some of the criticism of the game and certain individuals on WENB who do nothing but whine but lack of response to issues is not going to keep potential and established customers in the long run.

Still can't add chants in the PC version. Absolutely pathetic from Konami.

Not to labour on this issue too much, but I read some of the replies on Twitter and they are really unacceptable to me. Konami must be ok with it. I wouldn't be if someone was representing my company in that manner.

Agreed, that makes sense. I really don't see the need for Winning Eleven and PES titles running concurrently (I guess it made sense once upon a time). Seems like a waste of resources.

Create the one game and regionalise it with different commentaries, sound-tracks, etc.

As for the release date, I would like to see it worked forward slightly for a late August release to coincide with the start of the European football season. Take advantage of football fever but also keep clear of the big AAA titles that tend to launch in September and October. Going up against GTA5 was a brave move.

That would be bold James and a coup if they could pull it off.

However given the current track record I would they delay release until they have ironed out the majority of any bugs.

If you keep releasing a buggy product year after year it will hit sales eventually. They could I think increase the funding they allocate for the games development and expand that team in order to achieve the result you desire in August.

However are they willing to do so or rest on their laurels with the quite respectable sales they do achieve year after year ?

That said this release is the foundation for a tremendous future. To paraphrase from their very own marketing book 'evolution not revolution'.....:P

Really? That's just not good enough, Konami. There's been a patch, right? That says to me that the chants feature is a console exclusive.

Re: PES 2014 discussion thread (NO PIRACY TALK, YOU WILL GET BANNED!)

my message to anyone around here who has contact at konami or people releated to konami:

http://www.evo-web.co.uk/forums/showpost.php?p=2787936&postcount=17214

Try full manual and a shitty team

If anyone can make gameplay harder then it’s this guy!

http://www.evo-web.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=70880

This is a segment from his tutorial:

“The most important thing to do at the beginning is clearing mess KONAMI has made with assigning primary and secondary positions to players in the game. I really don’t know what they where thinking… We actually have one GK with CF as secondary position!?!
Clearing this mess is really important because positions players have effects their movement during game and rotations in Master League mode.”

I’ve used this and I must say that my ass was handed to me! But then, I’ve adapted and my ball possession was, again, higher than CPU. When you play this with friends, it was 10x better then default PES 2013 gameplay!

nenadmnc where are you, man!?
Help fellow fanboy retards!

Re: PES 2014 discussion thread (NO PIRACY TALK, YOU WILL GET BANNED!)

for users who have problems with "full manual pass"
I understand the way you think "konami"

advanced pass, this is actually the manual pass, but Konami has implemented for use both as common as long pass pass, wanted to merge the 2 buttons

right now I'm playing advanced pass, without help, and feels manual, it is difficult to control, but is satisfactory

Re: PES 2014 discussion thread (NO PIRACY TALK, YOU WILL GET BANNED!)

What difficulty does everybody use? I use Professional and I am finding it hard. I win some and I lose some.

Re: PES 2014 discussion thread (NO PIRACY TALK, YOU WILL GET BANNED!)

Pro with Nantes in League un ML. Last place thru 24 games. Barely scoring. I think I might have input lag with right stick getting 360 version tommorow

Re: PES 2014 discussion thread (NO PIRACY TALK, YOU WILL GET BANNED!)

Professional!?!?! Oh, that explains a lot…
I don’t mean to sound arrogant or something, but on professional level of difficulty I could probably win 3-0 every game controlling weakest team in PES with my gamepad turned upside down.
No offence…

maybe on previous pes games, not on 2014.

Superstar is easy because it isn't finished. Professional feels at a more finished state

No offence taken. I don't benchmark myself against other players, only my own enjoyment.

You are quoting my post, so basically, you are telling me (not suggesting or stating your opinion) that you know better what level of difficulty is harder for me in PES 2014!

Hey kid, don’t make me faceplam you…

I would be nicer if you have posted something like this:
“Dear Sir,
My honest opinion is that professional level is the hardest difficulty level for you.”

Re: PES 2014 discussion thread (NO PIRACY TALK, YOU WILL GET BANNED!)

1.01 made it even worse, closer to pes13 pingpong system, anyone? where is that hell of a difficult and complex leaked demo code by now...?
