The only thing completely ruining the game for me atm is the catch up bug that is insane this year, its just ridicilous, a defender with top speed in 60s catches up to Ronaldo at full sprint, and not only catches up, he runs like 3 times faster, he catches up to him in 2 seconds even if he has a 20 meter lead, breaks are impossible in this game because the defenders always catch up to you, its not realistic at all. I mean I had great through balls in space that gave my attacker like a 10 meter lead and even tho the defender had to turn around and accelerate to my speed and beyond to start catching me ( which in real life would take just too much time to even consider catching up ), in this game he did all that in 0.1 second.

The ones I linked will work with your card.

Uninstall your current drivers, and install these new ones.

It's also worth downloading a program such as Driver Sweeper and running it after you remove your current drivers to ensure that all traces of the old driver have been removed.

Side note: I literally laughed out loud when I had a player sent off for this. The CPU usually does their best Bas Rutten impersonations on me and never get called, but I get sent off for a legitimate challenge! Foot/studs were sideways (as if it even takes that into account).

I am still trying to figure out where this game went to after the leaked demo. That demo has my hopes high & filled me with excitement. All the good that the demo has done for me is draining out of me slowly. I want to love this game. But it's becoming increasingly difficult.

I just install new drivers over old ones, too lazy to uninstall and never had any performance issues.

Fucking loving the gameplay to be honest, despite all the game's faults.

Over the last few years I've been happy enough to switch off the game after one or two matches but 2014 keeps me wanting to play more. The game allows a great deal of freedom to play different styles of football and I'm pleased with the variation I'm getting in every game.

Having no demos to compare to I can only judge this against what has gone before, and 2014 is so much better on the pitch.

Up until last year, the Dell XPS. But Dell switched things up recently and it's now the Inspiron they're pushing as their moderately-priced line of gaming-entertainment laptops.

This is the problem, people bombarding Konami with pointless comments about nets, balls, boots and stadiums. Who gives a shizzle!! 5 stadiums or 100! I dont mean to be disrespectful but I dont really notice them anyway! We need to first bombard them with real issues, like...erm gameplay! Once that gets fixed we can talk about the eye candy!

I've already shared my thoughts on the gameplay and what they can improve upon. There's room for both. Besides, it's not exactly difficult for them to differentiate between aesthetic complaints and gameplay related complaints/suggestions. The fact that you don't notice it is irrelevant. I notice it and so do other people. Playing a master league/league mode is a bit underwhelming at the moment, especially with smaller clubs. PES 2014 is the best PES this generation, but it's not as if the gameplay is so godly that everything else surrounding it gets a pass. It's 2013, has Konami failed to realize that outsourcing assets during video game development is a thing? Maybe they do, I don't know.

I've had a problem since the demo and I was wondering if anyone else has had the same issue. Whenever I whip in a cross and one of my team mates is able to get to it (this seems to happen when it's a near post cross) I can never select the player. I've wasted so many chances because the game won't allow me to select the near post player. Also, what the hell is with the player switching? I just passed the ball about 10 yards to Walcott and instead of collecting an easy pass in acres of space, the game selects some random player in the midfield for me instead. What happens? Walcott just strolls on right past the ball as if he couldn't be bothered and I lose possession. Brilliant. This happens on Semi and Assisted cursor settings.

+1 It is a reward for being patient, eh ;)

However, I hope they are improving this sprint animation, pace, mechanic in the future. Since sometimes, players seems on a steroid. :P Cosmetic, yup i know. Although i like their initial intention to represent emotion during attacking, defending while sprinting. :))

Plenty of people do care about these things, myself included. The pitiful number of stadia and player faces are immersion-killers for some.

Gameplay is first and foremost but we as consumers should demand more. Konami are, after all, big players in a massive industry that have underachieved with the PES series for many years.

Don't let them off the hook so easily.

mate it's freakin" frustrating when u see every cross met by a defender, and not your attacking player heading the ball!!!! now u can't use this type in this game since heading is broken...

mate i agree 100 % , attacking headers are broken, every cross is knock away by a defender, sometimes i feel freedom in this game, sometimes i feel restrained, i dunno why, the catch up bug is a joke this year, i was yelling my heart out when i was through on goal with pedro rodriguez only to find myself losing the ball from a player behind with no foul, he just walked through pedro and took the ball.!!!!

what happened to the demo we all seen and loved, what happened to our dream game just a week ago we were praying the 20th of september would come to get our hand on the best game, it's all gone for another year of hope...........

Fgs stop saying something is broken because you're just bad at it or because it's not happening for you 10/10!

Hit the training ground or even play on beginner for starters. Jumping straight into higher difficulties on a new game that needs real learning and just sit there complaining won't do you any good.

Besides, if you're using manual shooting and you find it hard, just try basic.

And nothing changed from the demo apart from this being more responsive and refined. The demo wasn't better than this at all. It was even slower and less responsive.

I have absolutely no problem with attacking headers or volleys. Make sure you quickly press shoot and release it before the ball reaches the player. I've scored plenty of headers already and even a cheeky backheel.

Playing the game on regular for a few matches and doing some of the training has really helped me grow to enjoy the game. Playing the easier difficulty gives you a feel for knocking the ball around and now I am back on Professional and loving it.

The only thing annoying me is the catchup bug which is pretty ridiculous this year...

first: catch up bug is game breaking, ask and u see many people agree.
second: i've played 12 matches, not one header was met by an attacker after mashing B then Y(low header)
third: too many random bugs happening during games, like players not running to meet the ball while it's obviously going towards it, he just let's the ball go out of bounds.
fourth: i'm playing on professional, -1 game speed, everything basic, 2 bars passing.
fifth: u are trying to defend a game that is just not there yet,players near the byline just keep walking the ball to the throw in, while i'm clearly holding the left stick down towards the penalty area!!!!

it's ridiculous if playing on top player than means that no header can be made,it's not realistic, i'm playing with barca, do u recommend any tactics?

headers seem fine to me on basic shooting and i have had a couple on target, but they definitely don't work on manual and i'm about 30 games in, the players dont even jump. Its the same with first time shooting, its as though the button press is ignored

i had one first time shot in 12 matches, coming from a cross, it was kind of a flick on goal, that is it, 1 first time shot!!!

I think we bought the Demo!!!!!

Agreed with a post a few up from mine, the game has a few quirks that will be fixed with mods (reason I bought PC over 360/PS3) and that the game is not massively broken, its the fact we are trying to play the game like previous versions of PES and not taking time to re-learn the new gameplay.

Play the Performance Training and it pays off on the pitch + get PesEdit 0.1!!! lol

So you think its realistic that Pique catches up to Walcott at full speed, and basically runs 3 times faster than him? Maybe you should go watch some soccer on tv.
