Actually I just checked and AF was set to application controlled i.e. the default setting. Now I've set up a PES2014 profile with AF @16x and it's cured it.

Would you be so kind to share your settings? The others I tried had a saturation which was too powerful ans the game became some kind of cartoonish!
Some shots from Pro, with sweetFX (custom settings) - Looks awesome, this time I have to say - YES! That modul makes PES perfect! (about the graphic, because gameplay - especially changing players, still makes me a headache)

I haven't found the need to use SweetFX so far. Graphics and colours look pretty decent to me.
My TV is set-up correctly using the DVE calibration disc so perhaps I've got my contrast, brightness and colours where they should be.

I really don't know what to make of this game! I've played approximately 30 matches and have gone from wonder, to despair,to acceptance, to despair, to wonder...you get the picture.
The graphics are glorious on my gforce gtx 460; no complaints there. Actually find that sweetfx saturates a little too much.
I feel like the gameplay is responsive enough, it's just that the R2 has been nerfed to the extreme. I used to love holding play up (r2 in pes2013)and pushing away from an opponent or just simply protecting the ball. Now it's almost impossible. R2 usually results in some ridiculous attempt at a drag back ,shuffle, thus losing the ball. Keepers are much improved apart from new found ineptitude from low crosses. Typical Konami giving with one hand, taking with the other.
Added to that, often I send a player on a run only to find that my 'passer' has played the thru ball to some obscure player. Thru balls on the whole are an abomination! There is also a slight catch-up bug but it works for both sides.
Aside from that there are some wonderful additions. The animations are top notch. The 'organic' feel makes you think that anything is possible, even against AI.
I'm 37 and have been gaming since the days of Match day 2 so I don't need sh1t hot graphics, licenses, faces, boots, nets or stadiums. I honestly feel that this pes has gameplay that is one step away from brilliance or failure. It's a strange evolution...

Hmm, I'm not impressed with the PC version in its present form, plays a lot like that leaked demo that rightfully got binned, need to wait for a proper patch to fix the problems im having with response lag.
Anyone else using a dualshock ps3 controller using motioninjoy? I'm having a LOT of problems with the L1 + right stick player select, the arrows have a mind of their own :/
I'm a bit unhappy with the game in its present form for PC, really really really REALLY hope they fix the bugs whenever the gameplay patch is out.
Before people ask,yes I have vsync on and triple buffering in nvidia control panel for the exe.

Guys the code I bought from Gaming Dragons arrived hours ago.But I can't seem to make it update to the new patch.I read earlier that I can use Daemon tools to update it ...how ?!
@simcut I do the same "regarding controller" when I play I'll try and let you know if I have the same problem.

I have mate, I find the right stick to be massively over sensitive, if I hold l1 and move the right stick diagonal up right, it moves up right and then all of a sudden heads off in a completely different direction, its really peculiar :/
You use motioninjoy drivers for your ps3 pad? what profile are you using in the ds3tool program?

you know you can tweak dead axis zone in motionjoy right....that might be the problem.Also try another controller.

The PC version is so amazing. Miles ahead from console versions.
Although I've noticed some moves are harder to pull on PC. I'm using an XBOX 360 wireless controler and it took me a long time to be able to perform a trick that I used to do quite often on the PS3.
I can't wait to have a patch with all the real kits, up to date squads and stuff like that. Right now I can't play a Master League like this. I'm only playing friendly matches.

same here.Have you checked if the right stick is working properly than might be the problem.
About the axis deadzone ,try to make the stick less sensitive if that's ur problem(I guess by increasing the NO.)

Just updated and got an improvement on the replays already, gonna try with the problematic stadiums yet (the ones with crowd close to the pitch).

I've tried 2 controllers now, both do the same thing
what profile in DS3 Tool are you using?

Eventually played a game with someone lag free and it was a great match! One of the best online football i've witnessed to date
Sadly followed by someone who had minor lag with fully assisted. It's probably the worst replicated football i've ever seen, ping pong is an understatement, still managed a 1-1 so kind of rubbed it in his face.
Lag is hit and miss really, a lot more lag than not so it's an issue that needs attention, especially if they're hoping to bring 11v11, which will be a disaster if servers stay in similar state.

A rooney goal and a Ronaldo penalty re-bound?
If that was you I was playing against, that was one bar of passing assistance with basic shooting and advanced through balls. Maybe it's sort of telling that passing with one bar can seem fully assisted. I prefer manual passing and I was testing the waters with one bar passing.
