It works for me anyway.
Very rarely if ever one must reboot the system with XP, depends on the used software though. But still, that ctrl+alt+del thing has worked well with XP and was invented even before XP, you know.![]()
ive just got 70 quid for my 560ti and bought a 670 twin froza from OC on a deal..cost me 120 all in and it is way superior
mine is still under preorders
Edit - scratch that, I'm looking at the wrong order!
Ummmm....no. Whenever a game fell on its arse in XP (a complete hard lock up), no amount of ctrl-alt-delete would help; the only way out was a system reboot. With Win 7 9/10, ctrl-alt-delete returns me to the desktop from where I can close the process and relaunch the game.
Well perhaps, I play Richard Burns Rally only so what do I care?Never had a single problem with XP. Everything works as intended. It is the best.
The best.
But i have a slow pc and windows 7 will slow it down. Althout pes 2013 was played at 60fps high settings at decent hd res.
Pentium d 2.66ghz
Rdeon 4670 ddr3 1gb
2gb ram
So i was not asking whether i should get a upgrade...im asking if it is possible to play pes 2014 on my pc.
Thanks.
On the bright side, it will be possible to play PES 2014 on very old PCs like:
- Pentium D (Dual Core 3.0 GHz)
- 2MB RAM
- Radeon x1650 pro (256 MB)
- Windows XP SP 3, DirectX 9.0c
I think these are real/realistic minimum system requirements (PES 2014 is based on PS3 technology after all).

It was the best about 10 years ago.

That's weird, mine is under both.
In all fairness though, no rally game has come along with RB's level of realism. Far too old for me to play now though - I like realism, but I like graphics as well.![]()
XP.
RBR's excellence isn't in question.
OK - gotcha. Yeah, XP was good once upon a time, but 7 blew it out of the water. Wish someone would make a sequel to RBR though - obviously with a different name on the front given that RBR is sadly no longer with us.
Do you reckon the following PC can cope PES 2014 ?
- AMD A6 6400K (integrated GPU: Radeon™ HD 8470D)
- 8 GB DDR3 RAM
me
dualcore 2.75 GHZ 2GB RAM
ATI 4670 512 mb ddr3
pes 2013 moves like silk .. 1280x1024 in high settings
Which one is more powerful?
The integrated GPU Radeon™ HD 8470D or ATI 4670 512 mb ddr3 ?
Don't you guys in South America already has PES 2014 out already? or is it just the PS3 version?
Yeah, Amazon says that my pre-order is ready to send.
KONAMIs support answered me btw and say that my HD7770 have shared memory, thats why they think my card can't handle PES2014 on max settings maybe, lol.
Hope it works fine anyway... can just wait.
Before they wrote me, I think the 1 GB DDR5 VRAM is way enought, dunno what they mean with shared memory.
The beta driver from AMD works btw fine at me, thanks again for the tip, Jame.![]()
Where did you guys find the cheapest CD-key?
