I max out 'the other game' using enb settings, .lua mods + Radeon Pro. Part of the fun is finding which RadeonPro profile settings work together the best.. Oh and don't forget D3DOverrider. Silky gameplay!!

They have to in order to run decent on the consoles, the lowest common denominator.

Yes, we will need to wait for a person to release a LOD tool like the one Juce and Jenkey created for previous PES games.

Just pre ordered it from shopto.net. Cost me £19.99 and they also sent me a picture of the parcel that will be posted!

I have an i5 750,460gtx and 8gb of ram so I'm hopeful I can play with high settings at 1080p res. I'll be upgrading the graphics card soon anyway if there's any problems.

That is correct, I believe Konami is experiencing with PS3 and 360 in order to release a "real" Next Gen version next year.

But yes, PC users are probably 10% of PES gamers, but we are the ones with the better version, best graphics, etc

We are like the hardcore gamers, we look for the best graphically. But 90% of people do not care about PC even if it looks better.

Most console gamers do not like the trouble of gaming on a PC, bugs, hardware issues, etc

But at least for us, it pays the trouble of gaming on a PC.

It is the same story with Plasma vs LCD/LED, the Plasma lovers ( due to a better and more natural image) are only 10% of TV owners.

Yep, those in the know are well aware that plasma is the superior technology that gives a much better image. LCD was cheap to produce, cheap to sell and hit the mass-market so it won out, even though picture quality is not so good.

Don't even get me started on the LED TV marketing con.

OLED is the next big thing and that is simply an evolution of plasma technology i.e. each individual pixel is its own light source.

I love tinkering with things, that's what got me into PC gaming and away from consoles. I've built two machines from scratch and I enjoyed every minute of doing it.

The endless ability to upgrade components, finance withstanding, outweighs any niggles you may have with drivers etc. And ultimately the far superior graphic experience you are then presented with is the ultimate reward.

I love tinkering too. More so from a software perspective. Customizing the game to your liking is the best thing ever. I'm not sure how anyone can just stick the disk in and play without customization/mods. I can't anymore anyway.

Yeah but some people just want to put the disc in the drive and play. There is a lot to be said for that.

I agree with you, though. I've got used to tinkering with settings and the reward is usually worth it. PC gaming allows the best of all worlds. If you want a rock solid frame rate you can adjust settings for that. Some don't care about the frame rate and want all the eye candy they can get. Others are lucky enough to have a card that can do both.

Does ShopTo ship worldwide? Like to Canada? :) Just wanting to know, cause I'm thinking of getting it from there, since no retailer here sells a hard copy of it.
