Any of you able to buy player in MLO? I get a communication with server error + cannot retrieve player list.

I can't believe that some people feel there isnt a catch up bug!Have no problem with realistic catch up as a player without the ball is always faster than one without but this is just ridiculous!

This really feels like a demo.

I say this because optimisation isn't something you do post-release but rather something you do pre-release. Not being rude mate, but thats nonsense, there are so many games poorly optimised that are fixed with patches.

Menu animations are locked at 30FPS.

Interesting u mention the 60 fps, Radeon Pro shows 60, but when i open the OSD Panel it shows 30. :CONFUSE:
Couldnt find the answer for this yesterday night, maybe its a program bug..

maybe this is the main problem for many, it just runs at 30 and feels unresponsive, lol
new game engine i mean its possible its not showing right with this fps counters..

Yeah, it is. To be completely honest, I think the crowd this year is also third party (unsure if Havok has crowd simulation tools) and it's also in 3D. They just populated the whole stadiums with very basic meshes but because there's so many of them AND there doesn't seem to be any kind of optimization on them except bad occlusion culling, almost every platform will lag.

I gotta say, the performance boost from removing the crowd was so big the game now feels way too fast on 0 speed. That's how much impact it has.

I know, this is going to get boring quickly unless the modders can do their magic.

By the way, cut scenes and menus look to be locked to 30fps. I'm sure Konami can fix this, it's whether they want to or not.

So I think the game definitely feels better with the patch update however I doubt Im going to bother with this until Jenkey and friends release a full patch with gameplay, LOD, camera and visual goodies all to boot which is probably at least 4-6 weeks off.

this game is closer to 'Alpha' than 'BETA' IMO.

Yup, it happened when playing against you, it would pass the ball right back to you from kick off and i just thought lag played a part but every game so far it's happened.

I know. It feels like there are only 5 stadiums. And at night they basically look the same anywhere. & with only 2 weather settings. It's will be impossibly boring to do a ML

Been thinking of doing the same. This game does so many things right and has serious potential but....it's painfully obvious that this game was a rush job.

Only 5 European clubs have a home stadium, that's my problem (Milan, Inter, Juventus, Man Utd and Bayern Munich). That's not good enough really.

The generic stadia look good (love the new Konami Stadium) but even they have been slashed in number. When Konami are cutting generic stadia you have to ask what the hell is going on?

Of course it plays like it's an alpha version, they've worked only 10 months on the new engine to create PES 2014,not even a full year...

For Adam Bhatti's salary they could probably hire 10 graphic designers from countries like Thailand or Ukraine to make 30 new stadiums and actually improve the game.

All Adam seems to be doing is spin-doctering for Konami, they already had that bald guy doing that so why did they need 2 PR dudes wasting resources.

guys any suggestions i cant change the settings to 1920x1080 and when i play there are no crowd in the stadium just the noise??? pickled!!
